 wonderful interpretation of debaba's big hit abidjan
and pompon miyake pulling that manda chante voice,impressive,it makes the chorus even more exceptional

I just like this one as well. He knew now to choose musicians, only good singers I like Tony Ambrosio, Boby Ronaldhino,Julio Nzawu and Pitshou Kimana excellent singers.

Heavenly singing, the arrangement is similar to the last zenith show he did, he used to pay attention to detail just like Papa Wemba, excellent vocals.

it was in 2001,and the video you posted was his second olympia
he was at zenith and olympia 4 times in total,one zenith in  the 80's with abeti masikini and pepe kalle,this one, then two olympias 2002 and 2008

kester's ability to modify the use of his voice many times in the same song was out of this world
 i tried ignoring other singers and focusing  on kes' and just wow

RIP King Kester Emeneya i can see this guy was a grand musician it sounds like Wenge Musica during Kin en bourge time . There is one of his song very popular in Tanzania you can not attend a wedding without hearing his song in Tanzania.
