I saw the repetition as well and almost the whole band is still there....Dinara, Michigan, Catholique, Parfum, Travolta, Jamaique, Goldberg, Kakol, JB Immeble, Gino Bass, Hugo Synthe, Ong bak Solo. It was only Inongo missing though I know from the previous interview he is also still there. The mood here a few days back was like everyone was gone and that had me looking forward to fresh blood. I would have been happy to see some of them go to create space for some of the very good second-team guys like Matsuda. Am not really taken in by Travolta for example who seems to struggle every time he sings.

The first guy tested yesterday was so good on Sous Soul while 2nd guy played Mboka Liya partitions.

Travolta sings well though Ferres parts do not suit him.

I wish Nsone recruited the Kasangulu vocalist who sang Ferre's lines effortlessly.

I’m sorry but I really do miss Makaba. He’s a lot more creative than these guys. They’re all just playing the notes and there’s no improv

I would prefer Kimbangu though it is impossible to get him. He is versatile and energetic! Alfred solo is also good!

Ya Mukolo guys seems to be good. Let's give them a month or two and see if they blend with the WMM style of play and speed.

Fourth guy tested

This guy is better than most that tested once he learns all the partitions and lead-ins.

Imma listen to the soloistd once I have a little free time, btwht did Makaba rn away? He was the number three in the musician department after Werra and Kakol that's extremely wild, it is like JDL or Rio running away in France after a JB Tour, I know that Makaba isn't as old and haven't had as many years as JDL and Rio but he had a similar weight in Mauson Mere musician section so to me it is wild that he left, are the Condition in Wmm that bad?

Makaba left or he ran away. He was getting better over the past few years. He was senior in the band. We will never know until he does an interview.
