I feel sorry for Pacho. That's a bad experience visiting your family when coming back from Europe and the taxi driver stealin all your luggage.

I'm surprised to hear that some of cries that were done by Acide Wanzambi were actually Washington's creation

What did he say about QL? Did he play with QL at some point? A very humble guy this one.

What did he say about QL? Did he play with QL at some point? A very humble guy this one.

If I remember well. He said that there were tensions in the bad, because of bandmembers being mad about Adolphe not wanting to pay them when the tour ended. To calm them down he promised to pay cars for them. But his staff gave him the bad advice to not do it, because according them they would become bid headed. So when being in Kinshasa Shella, Jitrois and Washington came towards Adolphe to ask about the cars, his staff saying that he wasn't home and that they would not get their cars. This all demotivated them and from then Wenge Tonya Tonya going downwards. Washington being broke, etc. The Quartier Latin-gang who were mad about Adolphe having recruited the dancers Chouchou Mbayo, Midi Kompressor and Miss Coulibaly who were left behind in Kinshasa by Koffi, were aware about Washington's situation. So through restaurant-owner/QL fanatic Théthé Thérese and bodyguard B52 they lured him into Quartier Latin with money sended by Koffi. Washington didn't want to join Quartier Latin, but he couldn't refuse the offer because of his financial situations. He joined Quartier Latin in Brazzaville, who came there after finishing the Europe-tour and few concerts in Africa. He did also some concerts with them in Kinshasa. He was supposed to go with them on tour in the USA to animate along with Brigade. But the Tonya Tonya-admin refused to give his passeport. So they couldn't travel. Quartier Latin director Assitou Mbo tried let Washington travel with Kerozene's passeport (Kerozene stayed in Europe, but his passeport was still in QL's hand) which didn't work because Wemba's arrestation because of the ngulu's affair made everything complicated and Congolese bands being controlled extra with that. So Washington stayed behind in Kinshasa. During that time Wenge Tonya Tonya tried to get him back. Washington returned but it was going well with Wenge Tonya Tonya so he left some months later again. After some years he migrated to Kenya.

One thing he forgot to say was that he returned again back to Quartier Latin. But Washington not having the place anymore he used to have in his first months. Then being left behind for the tour that was meant to record Monde Arabe.
