i see that this year outside the now usual phenomenon of guys going solo we've had several guys going together or having some common project
ibrator adada and taboch,abraham metrau and abel de charme who agreed to let abel have personal projects but always team up with them ,tresor nzinga who left with quartier latin members,now lobeso polystar and limousine
and its not over a lot of guys in groups  have plans to leave  two or three together

i think to be honest the second wave of musicians leaving is 99 per cent due to lack of europe,it all started from fabregas foreseeing that next europe tour after the  stade de france one with a lot of pressure and the one of VIP with late wemba really starting that "ban" that it would be difficult and listening to advice of ibrator and co to go to belgium before visa expires while they start recording album for him
then the rest followed with the vast majority of them directly or indirectly leaving because of lack of europe concerts
there is only one guy who was really expected in solo career and that's watanabe

i also feel he left too early.  it is advisable to establish yourself in a Band before moving out. But all the best for him.
