Failing to be successful? you're wrong there,he's in the 6th gear now,he may be much more successful than even the likes of Felix Wazekwa. The guy is making money and touring all over Africa so very soon he's gonna match Fally's international status even without collaborating with many foreign stars like Fally does.
Those non lingala speakers,are they Zambians? if so then I can understand,Zambians want sebene but all the guys I know in Zambia listen to Ferre in their cars and request me to send them MP3's of Ferre's music so some people there appreciate his music.

I dont know, have always had high regards on Wazekwa because i find his music to be very tight and mature near to koffi's even though he is not very popular here in Kenya as Ferre and fally. Dj sly talk of Zambian people likes of sebene then it's exactly opposite with kenya as here most people learning to like lingala music only listen to rhumba and not sebene and that is why ferre and Fally are more popular. He's not really talking about or promoting Satanism or anything wicked,it's a love song but in it he's telling a story of a girl crying for her estranged lover and she's saying '' I have looked for you everywhere, how do I reach you,we know the mark of the devil is 666, I know God's number Jeremiah chapter 33, he further goes on to say  i've consulted elders at the temple,the arab astrologers etc and they can't seem to see you in their visions etc,they've advised me to do blah blah blah so that you return to me but you're nowhere to be seen,you've finished me,am dying slowly...........etc

I think archos made a typo error,he did not complete his sentence, Koffi hit it big time way before the others and he remains way ahead of others in terms of wealth. Werra's is actually combined with his wife who has been a successful businesswoman and pastor for years and it's only in recent years that Werra's assets have come to public knowledge and it's not very long ago since he joined Koffi and JB Mpiana in the posh area of Mont Fleury where the rich live in Congo.

I do not care about popularity, I have listened to music from wemba. ferre, fally even JB or werrason can not match up.......the other issue is not to understand, its the artist inability to to sing in harmony with diverse melodies or rythm and that is the sin of ferre...and his voice is good but he is static in diversity..
