I do not care about popularity, I have listened to music from wemba. ferre, fally even JB or werrason can not match up.......the other issue is not to understand, its the artist inability to to sing in harmony with diverse melodies or rythm and that is the sin of ferre...and his voice is good but he is static in diversity..

However you look at him,his plan is working bloody wonders for him,he's filthy rich now and has over 30 employees,a yard full of expensive cars,houses and lots of cash and women,what more can you ask for in life,he's living larger than most educated people in Africa so let him enjoy his life,his fans appreciate his type of music. Listen to Koffi's music, it's all the same rhythm but look at his fan base,huge,why? Because there are other people who appreciate what he does no matter how monotonous his music sounds.
