That's the first time i see Sam Tshintu sing Shambouyi live. Very good song by the way too bad that he didn't have a solo vocal in it. It always found it really weird that his voice was very different back then. I like this performance though

Many people think that Sam Tshintu sung on Magie. But he didn't sing. It was Aladji HC who did all those vocals, while many people think that they are of Sam. The same Aladji sung on Pas de Faux Pas he can hear him on Ma Fille. Koffi gave Sam just the opportunity to put a song in Quartier Latin, because he had alot of respect for him, since that he was the president of Flash Musica. Flash Musica is the band where Suzuki, Modogo, Blanchard Miantezolo, Lebou Kabuya and Willy Bula came from. Sam worked very hard to get a place in Quartier Latin, which he finally got in Ultimatum.

Really ?? But in the Magie's booklet he is credited among the musicians who participated in the album

Sam himself said that 5 or 4 years ago. That he didn't had any vocal in Magie and he didn't participate in the studio. But only gave a song and gavr Beevans some animations.

also magie coincided with when sam was getting his licence or something at university, and until he toured with quartier latin for the first time and realised music can be a proper job he was still a bit undecided whether he goes for his dream to be a journalist or something related to what he studied, economy

Speaking of Beevans did Koffi let him animate Magie alone to get closer to Wenge sound ? Instead of letting the duo Beevans-Jean-Louis Mazungidi. Even if we can hear Mazungidi in the generique.

It could be. It's crazy how he dissapeard so quickly after V12. He hadn't the inspiration anymore to compete against Somono Dolce and the arrival of Mboshi made his situation worser.  While in the beginning he was mocking Somono, when he came back from Magie. Insulting him and he didn't want to talk to him, since that he didn't came from Europe.

He was mocking him ? Damn. That's  karma he must felt stupid during the Ultimatum-Loi days. What about Mazungidi ? When did he left Quartier Latin ? After Magie ? Because he dissapeared quickly too.
