Congolese Music / Re: INNOSS B HAD A INSTAGRAM LIVE WITH JASON DERULO« on: February 08, 2021, 01:45 »I haven’t listened to derulo in a while. He released something in 2019 from what I see. American music you have to be active to stay relevant. If you are silent your career can die off.that's not true kendrick lamar hasn't dropped an album since 2017 he's still relevant. but its been quiet for Derulo for a minute, now he's on tik tok doing goofy stuff 288

it could easily been on Noblesse Oblige or V12 296
Congolese Music / Re: Why didnt Real World Records give....« on: January 23, 2021, 23:09 »I don’t see how JB could make an album for real world records though. Papa Wemba had many styles he could adapt. I heard he had some hip hop albums recorded.I can easily see records like, I love you, being on a real world album, and adapting to a different style; who knows, put some different producers around him like David Monsoh and watch the magic that would come out of it. it wouldn't shock me at all if papa wemba recorded a hip hop album cuz ye te oh got a beat and a hook that's on the hip hop/rnb vibe the original version, btw not the one with the white woman that couldn't sing a note 297

Congolese Music / Why didnt Real World Records give....« on: January 23, 2021, 13:36 »
I was listening to bana lunda, and I thought to myself, wow, JB can actually sing, and then I felt like real-world records should've given him a chance to internationalize his music like they gave papa wemba with Le Voyageur (1992), Emotion (1995) and 1998's Molokai I feel like he would've done an excellent job cuz his voice is unique and he's a great vocalist especially on Feux De l'Amour

Congolese Music / Re: WAZEKWA ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN TOUR FOR HIM AND CULTURA IN 2021« on: January 16, 2021, 00:31 »
Madison square garden? Lmao, I love wazekwa. Don't get me wrong, but this is the covid-19 decade ain't no concerts taking place anywhere, especially in Europe and the states. Will, he even be able to pack MSG with a reasonable amount cuz you gotta do that to perform, and now the knicks are just playing there don't wanna ruin nobody's dream, but that's reality.
