I saw a video of one combatant's from the UK saying Congolese artists are now welcome to perform in the UK if they want. He also attacked Boketshu for still insisting that the concert ban continues and even went as far saying he would personally provide security for those musicians who want to come and play since that according to him the ban has been lifted because Kabila is no longer in power.

Funny comments about the president. Lol

Akomi "mwana bitinda na ye", in Zambia we call such a one as a "Chola boy" or those guys who usually carry the presidents bags (Chola) on a trip and are sent to do almost anything by the boss.

Smh...so in Jet7 if you get suspended it means you leave.
Imagine that. I wonder what he even did to be suspended.

Which Mbonda player took over in Maison Mere after the departure of Ali Mbonda?

Cavalier for Vibration yes he left the band before the Angola trip as he was given suspension for fighting a fan while inone rehearsal as he was abused reminds me of Eric Cantona so he didnt like it so he decided to move on but for Djany Pacha he he is still in the band but watch this space. Vasco just saying the same shit people like to diss Ferre for but the funny thing is the guy says Ferre and co wanted him dead etc and the same guy goes back to the music scene kie kie

POLE POSITION My name is John and I am one of Ferre's biggest fan here in South Africa. I am now speaking as a stakeholder of Jet set and an immediate beneficiary of Ferre's music. You guys have made a biggest mistake in letting Vibration go. We were waiting for his song on the coming Album and besides, he is one of the most loyal band members in Jetset. I dont know how do you guys let this happen. We cant afford to lose our critical stuff members because of a scafol with a fan. Fans are always pushy and feel that they can disrespect anyone only because they cant take any  accountability. Suspending him was again another mistake. The worst that could have happened was you guys to ask him,"vibration" to offer an apology to the fan". Other than that, its Bullshit that Vibration is gone.

Ferre is starting to mismanage the our band. I wish I had his direct number, surely I was going to send him a text. This is unbelievable.
Please correct this or tell Ferre to do something. My number is +27 82 831 5907. You can text me Ferre's number, its also time I have a say something directly to him, to share opinions, from the other side of the continent.

I am looking forward to your response.
Well said Bro. In as much as it is important to maintain discipline in a group, but some discretion has to be used in dealing with certain core members of the group. That Vibration incident just needed the authorities in the group to talk to him and resolve the issues. Many times Marchouse goes over the board saying stuff to other people but he is never reprimanded (if at all he ever gets reprimanded) publicly. I feel that there are certain people in the group who are out there unsettling other members. You cannot be in constant rebuilding mode (because you are losing loyal members of group over petty issues) when you are suppose to be competing. Mawa trop.

Congolese Music / Re: MINI BIOGRAPHIES OF UPCOMING ARTISTS
« on: June 08, 2019, 10:48 »
Thanks for the infor @Archos.

So Reddy is also super stingy. Eish, seems almost all leaders are like that. Lol... I remember an interview were a certain internet journalist (i think it is Nadege) when she jokingly told Marchouse that why have you changed so much in terms of polemic when you were with Reddy you never used to talk much later on attacking others leaders. And Marchouse in answer said "how did you expect me to be very aggressive when there was no motivation, no car, no poto (europe) trips, kuna ata kutu brazaville ya pamba ezali te".

967
Muana kongo also did an interview where he was quite critical of ferre for being stingy, for letting other atalakus do his animation and constantly bringing atalakus from other groups, and that ferre was jealous of nicodem and his good looks and things like that... much to the pleasure of gloria olangy who interviewed him

I was about to watch that Interview. So the title for that Muana Kongo interview is click-bait because it suggests that Muana Kongo wants to return to Ferre's group since that pasi eleki? Lol. These guys like dissing their ex-leaders and then when nzala hits hard they start a round of interviews saying "aza papa na ngai, j'amais nakofinga ye".

So @Archos we can safely say "Les Marquisards" is officially a failed project?

968
Its sad  for Vibration to leave. I was looking forward to his song in the coming group album. Sometimes these suspensions should be used cautiously because you end up frustrating loyal members and Vibration is one guy who if i remember very well rarely went for trips abroad but remained in the group.

969
Vasco Mabiala and Rice Matadien are suggesting that Vibration and Djanny Pacha have left or are about to leave Ferre's group. If this is true then its sad. I personally saw Djanny as a rising star within Jetset but these musicians have small hearts and are very unstable. By the way in the same interview Vasco says Ferre's people want him back as SG but he is not interested in going back (Me thinks he is trying to blow his own trumpet here lol).

anybody interested in mini bios of marchouse and patou solo?
Really interested in Marchouse's (Kim Jong Un: Keeps changing nicknames like his patron  ;D) bio. Bring it on Papa.

Said it before. He belittles Congolese journalists like they know nothing. It's sad that someone of his stature doesn't wanna respect his own country men but will respect French journalists.

Congolese Music / WHO IS "MASTER?"
« on: May 31, 2019, 15:06 »
Like the little title says, the reference in "master" is used in what context when Congolese musicians use it to refer to fellow artist? I always thought master is a colleague but i hear sometimes the two words used together. For instance Bebe Ndombe refers to Lacoste as master in this interview but at the same time says colleague na ngai na ndenge ya mosala.

By the way i laughed starting at 28 minutes when he talks about the beef between him and Lacoste, he says Lacoste thinks that Ferre is the one who tells Baby to be at loggerheads with Lacoste and yet even when Lacoste's mother past away, Ferre was not willing to go for the wake but that its because of him (Baby) who convinced Ferre to attend since that it would not look nice if he stayed away. He also says they sat down the three of them (Ferre, Baby and Lacoste) to talk like men about their differences and that when Lacoste was asked why  he had been going hard on Ferre. Lacoste said ( Baby in Lacoste's voice) "Oh te master, il faut ocompredre ke, yo oza na success, il faut na critique yo" (No master, it is necessary for you to understand that you are successful so i have to criticize you).

I have noticed that that La-Mama page is anti JB, Ferre and Heritier. They been throwing shade at JB's shirt in this picture saying that he couldn't even get his dressing correct as it looks like he is wearing a dress. Lol

Is it true that JB is the only male child na libota na ye? I was watching some old interview forgotten by who, were it was said that he is the only male child in his family.

Aren't CD factories closed on the summer? Anyway I really like Fabro and I hope he does 5/6/7even 10 generiques

CD factories closed in the summer where did you hear that? Also CDs are slowing down. Congolese need to focus on streaming.
The African Market still largely depends on CDs because of low internet penetration and even where internet is readily available very few people have the financial means to access streaming services owing to high internet costs. So i think the focus should be on both CD and streaming.

This guy is a firm believer of quantity over quality with his music. How old is his previous album on the market?
