I used to like their intro's of concerts in Kinshasa alot. Its a shame that they were never reproducing those chereographies during their concerts in Brussels and Paris.

With now most artists starting to release afrobeat-generiques and generique with that weird/modern drum. How would this Werra-generique would been received if it was release in this era ? Because it was a big flop, when it came out in 2013. But it wasn't a bad generique.
Here Biblos Lufula talked about the reason of Saddam's grude towards Wenge 4x4, which made him support Wenge El Paris, the foundation of Wenge Maison Mere. He also talked about the creation of Ndombolo, etc. Beside that he revealed also that after failing to recruit Manda Chante in Wenge Maison Mere, they wanted to recruit Marie Paul as musician and make him the president of Wenge Maison Mere to replace JB Mpiana and Werrason holding his role as financial director (now I understand why Marie Paul always keep saying for years that he's the founder of Wenge Maison Mere) and Marie Paul accepting it, but changing his mind on the last minute after talking with his wife.

I think that his love for JB Mpiana and Marie Paul is to big. Because Marie Paul succes came to end when he came to Europe in 2000 with almost all concerts being big mpiaka's and KO Debout flopping hard, he made a comeback with Eboulement, but after that he wasn't the same guy anymore that he used to be in the 90s. On JB Mpiana's side, JB Mpiana lost the war against Werrason when the Schengen-ban came, which made Werrason made him dominate even more, having already the whole press and political class behind him.
In this video, Zacharie Bababaswe claimes that Adolphe Dominguez performed Olympia on the name of Meiway. I found the situation around Trinita's Olympia always weird. The VHS and DVD got never released on the market and nobody knows the truth about the concert, if it was a succes or not, because the press in that era was very silent about that event compared to his LSC-show 6 months earlier. I remember Archos explaining me in the past that the concert-organistors got threatened by zulu's to not release the video of the concert on the martket.
