If only all songs could be translated like this one, we could learn lingala even more and get to know who is being praised in the song (Mabanga)..

The translations are not always right,it's best to learn word by word,when you understand what each word means you'll find it easy to construct sentences and eventually you'll find that you're able to understand rhumba songs and next you'll start talking in lingala.
If you go to the main page of the Congolese music forum,i've stuck a Congolese dictionary like there,it's quite handy, you can type a word in lingala and it will be translated to English,not all words though especially not slang words but most words come up.
