100 per cent and by the way talking about the secret meetings kibens was talking about both used to meet like once or twice a year at along with kibens seguin and kakol in the area most of them are from, kintambo and they'd eat peanuts and kebabs and gossip about their leaders lol shame the game won over them and they took it too seriously and now its even 10 times worse
the guys literally check even a week before as much as they can the plans of the other so that they dont cross paths one of them once had to cancel last minute a trip to perform in africa in order to get sent a jet from that country in order not to meet the other who was coming back from a concert abroad

Congolese Music / Re: CONGRATULATIONS FERRE GOLA

What are they saying here? Are they hating on Ferre and Koffi? I see that lady a lot at the Werrason repetitions so I’m sure they’re not about about it.

Congolese Music / Re: ROBINIO KICKED OUT OF HIS OWN CONCERT BY FERRE FANS

The mistake he made is that he did not give himself a pathway to walk back. He went too far, and he lacked a strategic vision to plan ahead. Surely, our music is about momentum in time, and one thing for certain is that no one artist can dominate forever. The level of disrespect has now made him a pariah, and funny enough he is way less popular than before he started.

This reminds me of Kirikou when he joined QL. I watched an interview in which he admitted that he was encouraged to insult Ferre, following attacks by Marc House. 'Petit, o zela nini, il faut to yebisa yo...'

But he also regretted later on, and he realized that if he was in Ferre's shoes, he wouldn't forgive himself either. All because he took it too far and that there was no way back.

I watched this interview last evening, and of course, Kibens is always entertaining.

He makes a good point, which many people fail to realize. Particularly due to fanatism but also ignorance.

Rivalry is good in every aspect of life, so long as it's healthy. I'm waiting for the day Ferre and Fally would actually step on stage together, only to reveal that they actually never had any problems between them. Obviously, the way things are now is unlikely, however, stranger things have happened.

I think it will happen for two reasons:
1. People mature, and inevitably, there's always hope.
2. Strategically, they have taken the rivalry as far as they can. Both are excelling in their respective lanes; Fally can play all the biggest arenas, however that's not Ferre ambitions. Ferre is the epitome of rhumba excellence, and that's not Fally's ambition.

My point is that strategically and financially, they could make a splash like never before. Wenge reunion was great but in this age of social media, both Fally and Ferre would have a bigger impact.

But again, the strategic advisor in me can only dream.

by the way that dancer alliance ntumba my wooooorrrdd one of the rare with delphine bola of f victeam and lisa of team wata who could stand a chance in the golden era of proper dancers, both have that stage charisma and confidence and show that dancing is not just about making stunts and twerk on stage
I had the same thought. She was excellent, and what I appreciate about her is her professionalism. On multiple occasions, and in other previous concerts, I have observed how she coaches her dance mates to ensure they following the steps and tempo.

This is someone I think would be successful opening a dance school, even virtually through YouTube or Patreon.
