Congolese Music / Re: SOME PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO ACCUSE KOFFI OF BEING BEHIND THAT RUMOUR« on: January 30, 2026, 01:29 »
Unfortunately Didi had to do pull back from the public scene recently to avoid the drama with her dad and step-mom(?) from dragging down the success she worked for. It’s surely difficult for her to get into relationships without the frequent antics of her dad weighing over her
With all the sh*t he posts at times and his unyielding push to drive Cindy’s persona down everyone’s throats it makes it hard for his own children to have an independent identity 3
Congolese Music / ARSENAL DE BELLE MELODIES REALLY LIVED UP TO ITS NAMESAKE« on: January 28, 2026, 03:20 »It’s a very well crafted and varied album - with the exception of 1-2 of the génériques, it was a no-skip, repeat listen album. Making a top 5 list of songs is not easy. In this he took after Koffi in his prime works of having no 2 songs sounding the same Ill probably get flammed, but I think is for me is my favorite all-round album from Fally. It’s unfortunate we occasionally hear songs from this album played live. I was pleasantly surprised when he performed Tsho in a recent mini-concert. Droit Chemin was a legendary debut, but A2BM was a matured sophomore follow up. Not that Formule 7 is a bad album per say, like what was alluded to in a recent thread, he’s shifted his focus to making music around the millionaires and WAGS shelling out big money rather than making fresh sounding and memorable songs. Hopefully XX proves us wrong, but I have my doubts 4
Congolese Music / Re: A young Sankara de Nkuta bragging about his new car (2001)« on: January 26, 2026, 23:22 »
lol, if there’s one person that will never grow up it’s Wewa. He’s capable of doing the same thing today

Congolese Music / Re: WERRASON SAM TSHINTU AND JIPSON LINKING UP AT A PRIVATE CONCERT« on: January 26, 2026, 04:11 »
lol, imagine someone saying this to us back in 2003-04, man have times changed. With Sam being schoolmates with les fondateurs - he could’ve easily been in Wenge had the stars aligned differently

Congolese Music / Re: "XX Stories" de Fally Ipupa - Ép. 04 - LOKUA KANZA« on: January 26, 2026, 03:59 »It will be out before Stade de France. Exactly - he needs at least 1 or 2 new “viral” songs to help drive momentum leading into the concerts like SL & Mayday when Formule 7 came out. It won’t be a hard task with the motion he has with his fanbase at the moment 7
Congolese Music / Re: Koffi Olomidé's song dedicated to Guinea's president Doumbouya« on: January 26, 2026, 00:50 »
He's just recording whatever nowadays in his studio when money is offered. Doumbouya has become an archetype African leader expeditiously

Congolese Music / Re: LOL BUT NA FILET EXPOSED DATING HIS SINGER BENE AFIMIKO« on: January 25, 2026, 03:38 »
lol, rookie mistake. He needs to take notes from the likes of Koffi (pre-Cindy) and JB who in their careers got all the cheating/sidechick allegations in the world from every corner, but no substantive evidence or receipts to make a case stick to the wall. No face, no case

Congolese Music / Re: THIS IS BAD NEWS FOR QUARTIER LATIN HOPES« on: January 19, 2026, 23:26 »
The former career City Boys board member is down bad
Wow. lol @Archos is the clip where the members were singing like school children while she was texting on the couch and not acknowledging them? God forbid Cindy leaves him - it’d be the heartbreak/late-mid life crisis of the century on full social media display we’d never get the end of 10
Congolese Music / TSHE TSHE DE BALLE« on: January 18, 2026, 21:57 »
It’s a shame he’s a largely dormant dummer nowadays - he comes from the same category as Sembondo and Cambodge - hard hitting/tight drummer using physical strength, but does it with composure and does justice to low tempo rhumbas too

Congolese Music / Re: Gode Lofombo dedicating a song to Fally Ipupa« on: January 16, 2026, 17:33 »
lol Glazing 17 Pro Max
@CM Prince - I think Fally’s ability to get 100+ long term Visas with minimal effort for U Arena has the Kin lesser known artists plotting for a Poto meal ticket. That or getting publicity from the more general audience as an opening act 12
Congolese Music / Re: THIS IS BAD NEWS FOR QUARTIER LATIN HOPES« on: January 12, 2026, 23:39 »
@CM Prince we have to abandon mission at this point. My man been P whipped to the point of no return.
![]() Shame QL was pound for pound the most talented and polished group by a solo artist for some 20 years before becoming a mess 13
Congolese Music / Re: SINGER GUYGUY FALL HAS A LONGER ANIMATION COMPILATION THAT SOME ATALAKUS« on: January 11, 2026, 17:34 »
Guy Guy is extremely talented and polyvalent, but the way he acted and his temper with colleagues was his limiting factor

Congolese Music / Re: L'ANIMATEUR JULIEN ANTONIO OF PATROUILLE DES STARS« on: January 08, 2026, 03:00 »
Between Julio and Arafat 2500V, they are my top 2 pure tenor atalakou all-time from Brazza. Obus Kanga Bissaka is a brilliant album
