Papa Wemba was not hurt by Alpatchino's departure. When Alpatchino left, people around him were trying to force the old guard out, by recruiting "Bana Malongi" and coming with slogans like "Laisser les enfants s’exprimer". This was making Alpatchino mad and when he was left behind for a trip to South Africa, he decided to leave. He already felt for years that Papa Wemba wasn't liking him anymore and trying to sideline him. Alpatchino tried in the period of Banzokion to join Quartier Latin. But Koffi Olomidé couldn't accept him, due to those Maisha Parc-agreements and Wemba himself totally being against it when receiving a call from Koffi. After his departure from Viva la Musica, he kept saying in different interviews that it was a mistake to having joined Papa Wemba and that he should have joined Wenge Maison Mère, Quartier Latin or Wenge BCBG.
Here Papa Wemba had almost to cry due to Djo K asking his opinion about what people were saying about him being responsible for Alpatchino's death. In the same interview talked positively about different Viva la Musica members; Sol Kalmery, Esperant Kisangani, Rigo Star and also explained how Koffi sung for the first time on stage in Brussels. When coming to Emeneya, he revealed that Tshikose Ngotisma who used to be very close with Emeneya in the 1980s and 1990s, that he said to him that Emeneya didn't want to approach him anymore, because of accusing that Wemba was sending him (Tshikose) to put poison in his drink. Wemba also said that Emeneya should stop thinking what he was thinking about him. In that era Emeneya kept saying everywhere behind the camera's that Papa Wemba and his friend slept with his ex'wife to finish him spiritually. However, a few weeks later Papa Wemba would be asked about Emeneya during a press-conference in Paris and Wemba being fed up, since that Emeneya kept talking negatively about him in interviews, which made him say that Emeneya's ex'wife used to be his sidechick and that being the reason why he was hating on him, when he (Wemba) revealed it to him in private. Wemba thought that he would be cut off from the image, but journalist Cesar Ngadi decided to spread the images, which damaged Wemba's reputation, who was already in bad light after Alpatchino's death and showed it to Emeneya, who visited him at Radio Mangembo and Emeneya taking the occassion to spread the story that he was telling people behind camera's in public. Also how life of different artists and people in music-industry went down due to artists sleeping with their wives or sending women to take their sperm to use it for witchcraft to finish them
