Koffi, Wazekwa, Werra, Reddy all need to be jailed. They have the same spirit like the dictators (Sassou, Museveni, Obiang) of not wanting to leave. You've had your time, retire and let the fresh artists work
Eldorado told me that Fally invited him 2 weeks ago. I am surprised that he did not invite Vigas. Vigas is the songwriter for Liputa, Associé, Sopeka, Pharmacien, Orphelin Amoureux
Does Fally still work with them?
I don't think Fally works with Vigas any more. Djodjo Lina has also given Fally many songs.
I'm surprised Koffi was jealous, because he's clearly the better singer and had a fairly established name compared to Felix. If I'm not mistaken, Felix lived in Europe and worked a regular job with music as a hobby. At that point, did he even seriously think about a solo career?
Wazekwa was a descent singer when he was a lyricist for Koffi Olomidé, Papa Wemba and Duc Herode. Koffi was probably jealous because Wazekwa may have reminded him of his beginnings as a songwriter for Papa Wemba and a student in Bordeaux. Koffi was probably afraid Wazekwa would take his shine.
It was first a pack of 8 then it moved to 12 and by the time it was about to be more they started to fallout, which is why he still release some of the songs later
Were they co-writing or did Wazekwa offer 8-12 complete songs?

lol not ya felly sending some shots at koffi for trying too hard to keep up with current generation by doing rap and then proceeding to feat his children lem and flaety sgrave on a afro-rap song like the way the current franco-african who dominate french rap scene are doing bercy muana is overrated because of his stage antics the legend pepe felly manuaku with a better generique delivery in the defao generique than a lot of recent soloists(even though its interpretation of his own work for part of the animation and theo mbala still got his voice
Felix Wazekwa knew how to make his proverbs memorable then. Also it helped the fact he worked with the likes of Solo Sita, Ballou Canta, Nyboma, Shimita and Luciana in the choirs before making his own band.
Nyboma got to be one of the most underrated parolier (lyricist) artist of Congolese music until 2006 if I am not mistaken there wasn't a project where Nyboma hadn't written or hadn't partecipated. Why is he so underrated tho?
