Choulay revealed towards the end that Werrason's vocal part in Chantal, where he dedicates the song to Taty Kondé and Didi Kinuani, right before Adjani's vocal, was originally his. It’s a shame that Jerry didn’t ask if there were other vocals in Intervention Rapide that were originally Choulay’s as well. He left Wenge Maison Mère at the wrong time. I always suspected that vocal was his because it’s rare for a leader to sing lead and then when it’s the singers vocals they have a vocal right in the middle instead of singing first then letting the singers go next.
He definitely left maison mere too early it was a mistake for him to leave so quickly.
