I think there is a massive opportunity here. For example Naza collaborated with CNN on a song called “Generation Naza” which was quite a powerful sebene. Maybe we could get collabs with French pop and rappers on rumba tracks. Congolese have to find a way to evolve with the times. Already it’s difficult to market albums especially our classics. Yet we are the most unique genre in music.

lol, so the album wasn’t done after all these years? I could’ve sworn Mosaka or someone on their team mentioning that the release was imminent back in 2023. Or this another case of JB tossing the previous recordings and starting over?

Obviously you cannot do this in the US if he has another wife. But I didn’t know Cindy was actually married to him. The albums she has seem like Koffi albums.
Man I love the story behind Force de Frappe. It’s a classic I really wish albums had the same stories behind them these days. Also did QL AGB ever produce an album? Also some of these guys have gone missing except with resurgence of CNN with his two very good singles Bercy and one with Naza.
