When Lutumba sung about the "coup d'etat"which made him leave TP Ok Jazz and the way he was betrayed by Madilu. His departure led to the creation of Bana Ok, because Josky and co weren't disagreed for the way they treated Lutumba.  They created the band and almost all musicians TPOK Jazz following them, even those who didn't like Lutumba (after seeing that it wouldn't work out with TP Ok Jazz)

in short Lutumba made of Madilu the second Vice-President. According to Lutumba's version, Madilu went to Europe and went without his permession performing in Paris and secretly recording the album Sans Commentaire. When he came back in Kinshasa, he was suspended for 6 months. Then suddenly Franco's family stripped Lutumba off his role as president of TPOK Jazz and humilating him in the press and on tv (According to Lutumba's camp Madilu manipulated Franco's family to made from him the new president TPOK Jazz). As a reaction to it Lutumba announced his departure. Most musicians weren't happy with it and Josky Kiambukuta came then with the idea of forming Bana OK. After it Madilu himself didn't agree with Franco's family about the way to share money and abandoned TPOK Jazz. He tried to join Bana OK, but they gave him a cold reaction, so he decided to form his own band.

Madilu had also his own version. But they aren't on youtube anymore. According to him it's Franco's family in Europe who were looking him and asked him to perform with musicians of TPOK Jazz who stayed in Europe. Then being back in Kinshasa, Madilu explaining that it wasn't his concert, but that of Franco's children. Lutumba then wanting to get a part of the money, but him refusing since that it was little money and Lutumba being mad, deciding to give him a 6-month suspension him. Adding that he was innocent and not the reason of TPOK Jazz's disbanding, because of being suspended at that time.

They were always on good terms with Josky and meeting each other. Years later they would record with OGP an album called Chiffre3 and Madilu sung on Josky's album Double Vie (2005) and Josky on that of Madilu (2007). Madilu threw many shots at Lutumba in his album, but they later reconciled with Lutumba, but I don't know if it was sincere. Because I remember once that Madilu said in the press that he was about to sign with Bralima (Primus), Lutumba then saying to the direction that he would leave them if Madilu would join them. But I don't remember if it was before or after the Bonheur-era. Lutumba's wife Nkelani was btw Madilu's sister. Before Madilu's death, he and Lutumba were in Paulin Mukendi's show and Madilu then making some jokes about Franco and Lutumba, Lutumba then laughing.

Musicians of the era's before Wenge are also very professional. Despite all conflicts, Madilu participated  on Lutumba's album Trahison, which marked Lutumba music-career 36th anniversary.
