its true that his animation starts at typical animation in kikongo but that attack about gay( madess) ruined it a bit,i still remember that very cold reception from djo k
Strangely i do not know this guy, help me identify his work on any of the older Cultura songs?
you mean in old victoria? he is the man of tshaku libondance, remember few months ago i posted a video of him doing his test in cultura with boxing gloves and we said bercy had "spoilt" atalakus with those unnecessary antics
I was having a debate few hours ago with congolese workmates about that,so it inspired me this topic to know your views about it as for me,i'd go with three atalakus, one tenorist and one more rough and agressive, and a third guy who is either a mix of both or has a or a unique voice
genta would have been presented instead of celeo,if he was a tenorist, werra liked both him and bill but did not fancy having two "djuna mumbafu's" as it would not have balance
Any more news on Genta in WMM?
he did not stay for long he was mainly at the rehearsals at werra's house,he was backed by his friend ferre and also didier masela but like i said earlier him and bill had a similar profile when werra prefered guys who compliment each other, like in most groups

He says before victoria (and now cultura) he was in street groups with the likes of gentamicine, celeo and pretty much lmost of the atalakus who made it in big groups in the first years of golden ndombolo era he is asked about younger atalakus and talks about brigade saying he is a good atalaku he knew with wankovia(koffi) and later with werra and now is a leader, he says he does not know much about most of the younger atalakus he says he did not participate in i love you because he joined the group when they had already advanced too much so he did not participate and will be in generique fimbu he reminds people that he is the one who started using mongo language in animations back in the day,his role models were nono and djuna mumbafu he talks about bercy saying he "coached" him a lot during their days in dream team dream band he is proud of what bercy has become even though bercy only praises bill clinton on tv',and he is proud also of his other petits he coached in street groups like cnn or ocean, kerozene he reveals that the famous "nancy" animation of cultura belongs to zoe bella since dream team and bercy took it with him in cultura he also reveals that bill clinton "cheated" that famous animation he did for diamond business man tatu kansebu and that he has a lot of respect for him but he feels many atalakus have been underrated because of the massive hype around bill and the journalist says maybe its because most of those atalakus did not promote themselves properly on tv,they were too tv shy he says in victoria focus was more on singers but kester gave them all a very strong formation and he does not fear any atalaku,he is ready to take any atalaku on a battle as he has trained very very hard in victoria he says he shares atalaku role with his chef d'orchestre eclipse, nono chaka, sango mokonzi and anti rebelle and he says if his animation are not succesful he will leave the group because he is very confident in his ability, and has spent 12/13 years not being active in music so he has had time to listen to atalakus and work hard to be good in his return
lol you guys are killing me with this fally ferre rivialry,be it picking money on the floor or those producer's 99 per cent of the big stars have been through that koffi and wazekwa back to the days he had to adopt a bit of "yankee" attitude to be respected gave a torrid time to their bodyguards when a single dollar bill was disappearing
somewhat yeah, but les mineurs do not exist anymore, its just quartier latin, and also he says he has learned a lot in his time on the sidelines and if koffi accepts it he can be an artistic director to the group or to koffi central because he has many many many ideas which could either bring ndombolo back to the top or give a new dimension to congolese music(that "international" stuff of singing in english,or doing songs on rnb beats for example)
