i had not given a proper fully focused look to the video and mannnn i feel like crying, what a brutal downfall, even every second of when he talks sounds strange thats not his voice,he used to be trained to be like babia's ready made replacement so he ended up adopting that cocky style of talking babia had here i just see a completely lost man  :( :(

Is it drugs or did he lose his mind? Sometimes people have mental illness, but our culture stigmatizes it so people don't get help

i think it could be both, something mental for sure, he has never been the same since he started to go down  it kept going worse and worse, otherwise a talented guy like that would participate on at least two albums in a year

I’ve always said from day one, Mustapha’s departure from QL is one of the departures I really regret the most. To this day I will never understand why he would prefer to join Academia, you just played at Bercy you’re touring in Europe and you’re recording a group album but then you prefer to join a band that only just began, something definitely must’ve happened to make him make a sudden switch like that, his vocals in Viagra were awesome though.

I wonder what his colleagues reaction are going to be after seeing this video, because Depitcho has mentioned a couple of times that him and Mustapha were very close in the group and that he’s been trying to look for him.

Why did he leave QL in the first place?
I really don't know I've been asking the saem question. I was hoping one of the Ex QL musicians would reveal it in the Ado series but they never did.

Yeah for real man it kinda ruined my day just seeing this video, I've always said on the low that Europe can be the start of someones downfall just look at Babia, Adjani, Mbasu and etc similar problems. But for me Mustapha is by far the worst I've ever seen. He had everything to be one of the best singers of his generation.
Even here the way he's talking he sounds so different and like Babia like you said from 0:55

and 50:55

How he’s ending is strange. Im asking myself why? When? How?
Talking about mental illnes/drink/drugs and all that, I think somono is not doing very fine.
I saw 2 of his lastest itw...
He has that character of rebelious against koffi’s behaviour but now i understand why koffi didnt bring him in olympia.
Might pray for him.
Music eza pasi

Like Océan .... Sad.... instead of helping him, they prefer to humiliate him for the buzz
What was Ocean's problem? He stayed out the spotlight all these years until his death.

Damn his voice is gone. Gibson did him really bad he must feared him a lot. I remember watching another interview of him at Nantes in YouTube 8 years ago. In this video he look way worse. I hope one day he will be "saved"
I wonder what JF Ifonge, Jordan and the ex-Bercy team must think when they see Moustapha like that.

This is a sad situation. Same with Eric Tutsi. They have been harmed and are damaged goods. It is heartbreaking.

If this was an American or British musician people would’ve started a GoFund me page for him or anyone in that situation. But anyways I managed to send this video to Depitcho on Instagram and he saw it so hopefully it could be the start of getting him the help he needs. Mustapha’s in my prayers.

Eric Tutsi has recover since now he is in good shape. He even admit he was a junkie. But I hope ex-Quartier latin members would do something especially the "Generation Bercy" who knew him before Moustapha before he lost it. If i'm not wrong he's been like that since 2002 or 2003 right ?

Let's stop idolizing Americans and British people like they are some sort of Gods you will cry knowing the many rappers, musicians executive who are broke in USA and don't get help

Athletes too, simply worldwide when you hit rock bottom is really rare that people help you otherwise we wouldn't have homeless people in Europe and other Western parts

Ehhh Mustapha Hadji mawa... he needs help and seriously. Archos do you know anything about how he lives? Doesn’t he have a family or kids?
