from 1:01:30 (the first one) 1:02:23 (second one) this atalaku animating along.

I think that it was the time when both Celeo and Bill got suspended for 1 month, but them already returning after 2 weeks, when fans started complaining that the animation became very bad.

Kiekie - that’s like the lakers suspending Lebron and Antony Davis at the same time. The equivalent of suicide for the fanbase

Trust me, Werra was suspending left right and centre in 2003, Heritier, JDT, Kakol, Baby, Bill and Celeo all got suspended. I can’t remember the last time a leader suspended so many important members in the same year. Imagine Koffi suspending 90% of the team of Fally Generation Bercy or even in our wildest dreams Jb suspending 90% of the TH team in 2002.

HAHAHA werra got nervous in those days because one of the big session artists of paris i think djudjuchet  or caen madoka or just one ofthem legends, went to kin and was surprised to see that some were struggleing to pay rent and was like"but did not you have double zenith tour not long ago"  and the musicians explained that they were told that somebody ran away with that money and the guy told them that first of all they should have been paid for every single rehearsal for double zenith then paid for the double concert which got the guys absolutely furious and they started showing it,either doing 12 on werra at rehearsal by changeing order of songs in concerts or  not picking his calls for trips until jeannot petrole and co insisted
so the direction decided to pre write suspension letters with the longterm target of hitting very hard one of the big 5(ferre bill jdt flamme baby ndombe) to show who is the boss
so like prince said almost all of them got suspended for little things, heritier for exemple getting two weeks of suspension at some point for coming with same baskets as werra, ferre because he arrived to rehearsal from airport  after his private family trip  15 minutes later while normally ferre could turn up one hour after when the team of zulema patrick kitoko and  co was done in the part of the reserve team
i think they made their plan succesful with baby ndombe

I remember that in the same period the whole team decided to not show up at the rehearshal and coming 2/3 hours later, to show that they weren't happy with the payment they were getting. Werrason then being alone with some reserve musicians and the dancers at Zamba Playa. But it turned against them, because when they arrived they were booed and insulted by Maison Mere-fanatics. The incident was spread every where and to wash the image, Werrason and the staff decided to "pay" the musicians at Gallerie la Fleur with all camera's and journalists coming to the event. All musicians had to say on camera, that they were paid and receive salary every month, which wasn't even true.

The story of they money of Double Zenith being stolen was made up by Werrason and his staff. He wanted to get all money, but didn't saw how to get it. Because at Bercy, he hided behind the plan of having to pay 3 buses for AS Vita, CS Imana and AS Dragon. Which was done to get sympathy from the population and diaspora, after Adolphe left on a bad way. Werrason knew that the musicians would believe him and that he hadn't to share the money of Bercy, while the buses where pin reality paid by donors. This time at Double Zenith, to avoid money problems, donors (including Didi Kinuani) decided to collect money for the musicians. But the amount was high and Werrason decided to come with the startegy of Wenge 4x4. He "sended" Elliot to steal the money after the concert, which they later shared and all musicians being mad. Like in Wenge 4x4, he claimed that they money was stolen in the locker-room by Zoulou gangsters. Baby Ndombe so mad,, that he even wanted to go further with Les Marquis-project which already started in 2000 when they were at the Kora Awards. Nsone in meatime having already the money of the rehearsals, the two concerts, that of Western Union who sponsored the event and that of the ngulu's kiekiekiekiekie.

Why have they recorded A La Queue Leu Leu then? Wnd why guys Like Celeo and Kakol stayed tho? If th weren't getting paid why staying? Anyway I think they should have kept between themselves and form a new band that would have been the death of Werra. Immagine those guys crating Les Marquis Right Away.

JDT was also suspended a long time in 2003. How long ? For some months right ?  He wasn't even there at FESPAM 2003.

He was just suspended for one month. It's rare in Congolese music to see somebody getting suspended for more than 2 months.

They had already received the money of people they had to sing on the album and after some moment the feeling to start a rebel-band dissapeard. You can't out nowhere abandon a project in Congolese music, when you already received some money from people to record songs for them, otherwise you will get serious Ferre himself snitched Baby Ndombe to Werrason for wanting to create a band. Despite some problems, the bond in the band became stronger during the tour. They all defended Werrason, when he got arrrested in Brussels for the ngulu-affair and they still wanted to prove rival bands a point. For example doing better than Wenge BCBG at the next Stade des Martyrs-event, proving that they were better than Quartier Latin who started really to copy them, etc.

Kakol used to be and is still a pro-werra musicien. Celeo was getting money from Didi Kinuani to calm down, being also an agent of his company like Aimelia Lias. Celeo was not really motivated to leave because he knew that rebel-band doesn't last long and was getting alot profiting alot through matolo from soccer-players like Shabani Nonda, Tresor Lualua, politicans like Theophile Mbemba, the late Zahidi Ngoma, Moise Katumbi, etc. which was rare for a bandmember at that era and even for some bandleader. If he wanted to leave. He could already follow Adolphe Dominguez in his Tonya Tonya-project, because Adolphe was the person who brought him to Maison Mere and he was closer to him then Werrason, but he refused Adolphe offer and prefered to stay like most musicians.

I don't think that them all leaving Maison Mere and forming a band would be succes. Les Marquis only survived for 9 months with often problems being in the band (Bill fighting with Japonais, etc.). Baby, Ferre, Bill would do everything to humilate Aimelia, who was in Maison Mere often protected by Criss Ibanga, when them planning something against him. Bill and Celeo would start the tom-jerry fight, since that there would nobody would could dominate them, mindgames of Ferre vs Lacoste, etc. It would surely be a big mess.

The history of Congolese music have shown that massive departure can't ruin bandleaders. Werrason already survived the Wenge 4x4-split being left alone with Didier Masela "Général Kweck" and Adolphe Dominguez with all people claiming that his career was finished. But him surprising everyone with Force d'Intervention Rapide and becoming in one second the most popular musician of DRC for years long. Splits and massive departures  strengthens bandleaders on the longterm.

Damn it seems like they really didn't like Aimelia. I heard a story of Baby Ndombe humiliating Aimelia at a airport (I don't know what he did exactly) with Aimelia replying and they almost fight if it wasn't for JDT separate them. I think Aimelia should have not join Maison Mère he didn't fit there.

You right about bandleaders becoming stronger after massive departure. It was the same for Koffi. The rebels always suffers the répercussion of forming of rebel band with strong ego wars and no split groups last long.

@ Archos , Mfumu Vata or anybody else

What was the reason they disliked him ? Is it because during BCBG days Aimelia used to look down Ferré or something else?

Aimelia used to look down on Ferre during the Wenge 4x4 days and when he joined Maison Mere at Bercy, Ferre wanted to form a camp with other musicians to make his time in Maison Mere hard. But Celeo & Lacoste didn't follow them and where the only one who were cool with him in the first months. Ferre was really mad at Lacoste, when Lacoste gave the mic to Aimelia after finishing singing Vita-Imana, the moment Werrason was about to present Aimelia to the public.

Another thing that made many of Maison Mere-camp still hate Aimelia was the way that they didn't forget how often Aimelia and Alain Mpela would drive with their new mercedes to La Zamba Playa after coming back from Europe with Wenge BCBG, when they were still preparing Force d'Intervention Rapide and none of them having a car. He would often follow the singers close with his car, to almost hit them and driving fast away. Also him often mocking them openly on tv and like Alain Mpela, naming themselves Wenge Socimat, which hurted the Maison Mere camp alot. There was once a show of journalist Thierry Pinzi, where Aimelia was invited to represent Wenge BCBG and JDT representing Wenge Maison Mere, but Aimelia not wanting to give JDT a hand, prefering to due the Bue-sign. Werrason himself said to Aimelia, that Aimelia was the person who hurted him the much for the way he used to scream on tv "ouais, ndenge ezali" as reaction when JB Mpiana, Blaise Bula and Alain Makaba would say something to diss Werrason, Adolphe and Masela on tv.

Ok now I understand why they hated him so much kiekiekiekie.

They are a lot of stories like that in Congolese music with musicians with brand new cars, clothes coming fresh from Europe who don't hesitate to mock and humiliate those who didn't have the chance to travel.

The king of  being humiliated is rio of bcbg, the guy got conned in about 3 consecutive tours by people who had to bring his cars back to kin so from the likes of ferre to the likes of jitrois who arrived after they had opportunity to mock him a lot because he was taking taxi whenever he did not go to show with his best friend kibens,i remember once i went to kin and there was heavy rain about to start and rio went out of raga tv and all the maison mere guys started waving their keys at him and laughing at him and moved except heritier who pretended  to go then came back like "ya norbert(rio's real name) tokende ko" rio hesitated because there was maison mere fans around singing and mocking him but he ended up accepting
lol musicians even in their own group like to give stick to their musicians about cars, brigade used to be very rude to lobeso about the fact he had no car and that he did not have enough swag to sit in his car until they became friends after brigade realised lobeso was very good in traditional medecine and could give him plenty of those energy boosting/sex boosting plants :D :D :D

Loool even the same Aimelia when he was still in bcbg was mocking Rio, Chai and Kibens about not having cars and even used to kick them out of his car when he’d be giving lifts to people after concerts or rehearsals he’d turn around and see one of them inside the car and kick them out telling them to walk ;D I swear he was still mocking them about cars when he went to Maison Mere.
