Congolese Music / Re: NOUVEL HORIZON NEW EP IS OUT« on: December 17, 2023, 23:46 »In the recent releases i notice they seem to do better in lives once album is released, they have a weird habit now that all of sudden when album is out zaparo finds good animation and by the time next album come,it will have been released as a single but done with less energy than in lives Very true but honestly that’s every band these days lol 18
Congolese Music / Re: FALLY'S BELGIUM CONCERT WAS AWESOME« on: December 17, 2023, 23:43 »Sorry off topic question. But will guys like Werra and Koffi finally be able to perform in France and London now? Or will there still be issues with them? I appreciate Fally being able to have his concerts back but what about the other guys?Tbh I don't know how Werra was with his concert in London but Fally as Bigbang says has a crazy amount of connection, and tbh if anyone tried that combattant thing there it would have ended really bad for them. With that said Koffi and Werra despite being legends are unfortunately the face of singing for Guesso and Kabila so unlike Fally who somehow managed to stay outside of the controversy to sing for president they still have the brand that they worked with someone who oppressed the people. Ahh I see but remember what happened with Fally’s Bercy 2020? How much has changed since then? The only thing I can think of is that the combatants have calmed down. Guys like Koffi and werra must feel some kind of way about fally being able to perform now 19
Congolese Music / Re: FALLY'S BELGIUM CONCERT WAS AWESOME« on: December 17, 2023, 17:50 »Werra did perform in London back in August I know but he had some trouble with the combatants which made him change the venue and perform in a gym. It didn’t go as planned. It should’ve went like how it did with Fally 20

That makes sense Archos. It’s amazing how the fuel runs out after just one album usually and they groups become more complacent. That’s how they eventually break up unfortunately. They need to avoid that and find their source of motivation elsewhere

The generique Eboka and seben song Leva have strong starts but get ruined by that monotonous beat in the 2nd half of those tracks. For Eboka, first 3 minutes were great, and for Leva, first 5 minutes were perfection, then the flow gets ruined for both tracks. This was the same issue I had with the 242 album where they just kept making changes to the the track that make no sense(EX: MM international).
I think it may be Sonor Digitals odd way of using his partitions. It seems like he saves 1 or 2 good partitions for each generique/sebene track instead of going out all out on a track. That’s why it always feels like something is missing with Nouvel Horizons music. Not sure if it’s lack of creativity or just an odd direction, or just trying to make viral music for those tik tok dance challenges. It can easily be fixed if they just try to be like the old Extra Musica albums. 23

Congolese Music / Re: Werrason Fatshi Beton Campaign Song« on: December 08, 2023, 19:00 »Right like now he wants to create a sebene song but it’s for a campaign song smh… like why can’t the donors also ask for a sebene song smh. That’s understandable. What group would you say were in? Like the 20s and 30s? I guess that’s the overlooked audience with the least influence and power 25

What was the combatant situation? Is the ban finally over?

Congolese Music / Re: DYNASTIE 2 BONUS GENERIQUE IS OUT« on: November 21, 2023, 03:17 »Ekoyebana fooled us into thinking that he can deliver on Sebene front like he does with rhumba. It went downhill from there. This is very weak along with the unreleased générique with Bill. Agreed 28
Congolese Music / Re: CELEO'S NEW ALBUM IS OUT« on: October 14, 2023, 06:09 »
I really like the generique and Zozo track. The rest of the album is the usual rhumba you hear on every album.

Is that the generique that replaced the bill Clinton one? What a disappointment! You just had to ruin it Bill Clinton!

Congolese Music / Re: WERRASON TESTING HIS NEW SOLOIST:GUY SOLO« on: September 29, 2023, 23:40 »Why everybody hating on Makaba? Can someone give me the full details of his solo? Actual music created by him? Yeah you sound like a Makaba hater. He’s actually really good. He only really gets opportunities during repetitions and concerts. Werrason doesn’t give any opportunities to soloists anymore other than the usual generique or so. So it’s mostly Werrasons fault for not letting him reach his full potential on albums. |
