Human sacrifice? Which people did he sacrify for being successful?Welcome to the inner world of Congolese music. Sometimes members of an artist's entourage or circle, even donors die of mysterious causes leading up to a release of an album. These macabre acts come from spiritual traditions dating back hundreds of years - it's quite sad they still have strong convictions about these practices since they follow every word of their spirtual advisors/griots. Most times artists (e.g Bill Clinton) have had more success without partaking in these practices.
