This is good. A part of me is thinking Thank God it wasn’t a song from Fally, Koffi, Ferre, Werra or Fabregas because my word the noiseeeeee we’d get from them and their camp would be unbearable

Nice to see

This follows.
I read in his autobiography how when he was young his father would put on a Lingala LP and would dance to it.
Obama said he was facinated at how the music would take his dad ot some trance-like state.
Probably some Luambo or Tabu Ley classics as they were the hot musicians of that time.

This is something surprisingly good. Obama has awareness of the beauty of Congolese music.

Kinda wish it was a more famous artist and not underground/alternative act. Seeing Koffi or Fally or even Ferre there would have been dope in all seriousness. Who cares if they woulda talked bout it for 10 years. These artists put their entire life into the music if they catch a blessing so be it we should be happy for them and our culture as a whole instead of saying thank god it wasnt them we’d never hear the end of it

Ahahahahahahahahah. That would have been so embarassing
Imagine Obama dancing a song of Brigade like Kamula or a Crie like Mayi

Yep. And he got in troubles a lot of time when in Maison Mère.for his hidden but no so hidden cries. Cries like Lidusu (The Hole) or Mayi (Water which in Lingala it can be easily translated with the context in P****'s water) Simba Micro (Hold the mic) Sima Ekoli (The Back meaning the Ass is grown) and so on, I think his most successful Sexual Crie is on Longitima Skol where he says "Lilala na Midi e ya Papa" which means the orange at lunch time is of the Papas with orange means a clever way to cover the term p**** or "Libele ya 12 h? Ya Bebe, Libele ya 22 h Ya Papa" which means the breasts at 12 O'Clock is for the lil babies but the breasts at 22 is for dads. So you can see how Brigade throughout his life has always been someone with a very clear and distinct passion for sex
