you add a couple of studio effects and you get  those beats most african musicians are using now to do those "electronic" dance songs :D :D :D

Haha, you guys that was actually me that put that together :D  The guitars and bass were done with real instruments but the drumming is through a keyboard. I posted it to my soundcloud page as well https://soundcloud.com/gary-desinord/jb-mpiana-cover-titanic
Follow me there as I hope to continue to do more as my skill level gets better in the future. My I hope to do one similar to this using some of my other favorites like Zaiko, Empire Bakula and maybe a better Extra Musica track.

Yes indeed...its not 100% accurate but close enough lol. Im not congolese, my background is Haitian-American so that influences my playing a lot. I realized on some of the solos I left out a part or two like liberation but oh well. Masuwa wasn't on the album but it fit. I don't bother to try to get the baselines and 2nd/3rd guitars accurate, rather just improvise to sound how I thought it did.

You do not beat a drum with one finger

No not a real studio. I own a guitar, a bass, midi keyboard, a macbook and an interface (connects the guitars to the computer). I use Logic to record and a drumming software.
