If Koffi sung this song, then it would have meant the end of his career. 80% of his fans are women and he made his career because of them. He wasn't earning the respect other singers and bandleader were getting because of his songs and his impact not big despite the succes his album were getting. There were even people claiming that he was getting songs of French artists and those of Julio Iglesias and translating them into Lingala. Koffi would finally get more respect when he started to promote artists like Suzuki and Willy Bula. But still the majority of his public would remain women and men who were following his music just being there to see dancers like Fifi, Rosette, Zina, etc. and being there for him or just to steal lyrics of his songs and modify it a little bit to seduce women through letters.
