Just for fun and out of curiosity why has no one added Miss Nicole by Sam Tshintu on their list? That song was such a hit I remember having it on repeat when it came out, and it was always requested in Academia concerts and also those two times Sam visited Koffi at concerts  ;D :D

voilaaaaa i knew i missed out on a song, this a quartier latin classic
this team until droit de veto was something
it makes me think about how mentality have ruined group spirit now, these guys and other guys of big groups most of those generation until les marquis which announced a new era in congolese music were spending up to 10 hours of daily rehearsal together often then would rehearse privately together again and even if personally there was some clashes like it happens everywhere as soon as people live together they built strong chemistry
nowadays two musicians of a band rehearsing together is already seen as a potential group in the making  and suspension is pending

If was about a top 10. Its to hard to choose, ql have the best catalogue of music in congo. I could add miss nicole, shambouyi, shopping, drapeau blanc, sheraton, meslian, ma fille, fois cent, tous pepele.
Too much quality, until danger de mort aka the sacrificed album.

This is how I know you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about if you say Detresse is an okay song, even Willy Bula and others have gone on record and said Detresse was the best song they recorded, so many musicians from other groups were singing that song when Babia died. Also Aquarelle isn’t Felly Tysons song it’s Jordan’s lol

It’s completely okay to prefer Petit na London it’s a fantastic song, remember how it was requested by the crowd at the QL 32nd anniversary. But to say Detresse is just “okay” which is implying it’s not that good of a song is where I draw the line lol.

The reason I made this topic is because I was listening to Miss Nicole and I said to myself this is a proper QL classic. QL does have a strong discography, I don't think there's any bad songs by a musician. Even by that it's hard to just have 10 songs.
