Congolese Music / OLD PEOPLE IN ZAIKO
« on: February 17, 2022, 22:16 »
We have spoken about Young people in Zaiko, and how they helped to maintain a strong image in a world (The Congolese Music World) where Wenge Musica whom is built around maintaining a young presence and Fally whom is well known for his music but also cherished for his looks.
We spoke about what these youngins do to survive too but now I have wanted to speak about the old.guys.

Usually we know that Congolese musicians live through Mabangas, giving someone a shout-out in exchange for money or clothes but since making an album with a live band and with a lot of material is hard and not constant, how do the old people of Zaiko survives? For Example Doudou, the other two Papas who do animation (forgot their names) and the old guys in the singing department and in the musicians department too, how do they survive? Because to be honest they all seem nice in the videos, but we all know in Congolese music appearances are just what they are, appearances.

Congolese Music / WHEN JB WANTS HE CAN MAKE GREAT GENERIQUE
« on: February 16, 2022, 22:16 »

The First minutes until the Rota Rota parte are so magical even the Mpunda part aré GREAT what I didn't like here was the part of Pajo Matelo, whom to be honest wasn't ready still and to be honest I think here Genta had too much space, they should have let Ben Laden shine instead of only that Tshiluba part in which he delivered still.

Congolese Music / ARE SWAHILIS THE BEST NATURAL SINGERS?
« on: January 27, 2022, 23:01 »
Now I like to categorie Congo in our 4 Major.tribesI know that there are more but bare with me, and from the music standpoint I have cane to this conclusione, from a pure Musical standard meanimg laying down a Great Song with the instrumental and finding voices (not singing, but finding those voices and instruments Who can Fit the Song well) I have to Say my tribe BaKongo are the best for example

Werra bevande successful also because he automatically knows when a Song Is good or not for example despite people.hating Lobeso for his slow pace, I think no One can deny that Muselu his last crie in Wenge was not a masterpiece from the musical standpoint

At 4:15

I don't know Who came up with the dumb idea to lower the quality of the video and audio on the official YouTube video version to descourage Piratesf from taking the Song It ruined what could have been a Great success (Just for some cries, some other cries were not necessary) and also Bercy Mwana's crie Ya Ngiama Coaches

6:55
Here you can here another version of musselu which Is even Better
At 8:40
I can go on Forever but I will be brief
Then we got Mulubas that ti me are the best dancers, like It Is really really really rare to see a Muluba Who can't dance JB Is a Great example, Bill also till to this day he Is a great dancer but to be extra specifico check these videos from BaYuda Du Congo you can see that dance Is in their Blood

About Mongo people whom are like an ancient versione of BaNgala people, I think that of course since It Is their Language the lyricism

You can hear here Mimì Mongo in a beautiful Mongo Song God rest her soul

For Swahilis instead I think that they are the best Natural singers, taking Cappuccino out Who to be Fair never sang with his Natural voice but in that weird.imitatiom of Werra, I Still have to hear a Swahili Person Who can't sing, not only Congolese MuSwahilis, but also MuSwahilis from Kenya, Tanzania etc. For example Brigade, Is a really Great Singer Who could have made It as a Singer

2:44

But also in his song Zone Rouge the voice variation Is Crazy

Pepe Kalle

Remy Ongala, man his face look so much Eastern African Is crazy

And of.course my beloved Innoss

And also a lot of MuSwahilis from Outside like our believed Diamond from Tanzania

Shilole and Hasan Vocha from Tanzania

Nandy also from Tanzania

Do you guys avere with me or you have different opinions?

Congolese Music / YOUNG PEOPLE IN ZAIKO
« on: January 27, 2022, 17:57 »
I am preparring something for my own artistico project and for this I have to review/study a lot of Congolese music and the first group I have studied Is Zaiko for obvious reasons, besides Franco and Tabù Ley I don't think that there Is a group who influenced Congolese musicians like Zaiko, even Koffi, Werra and many others BCBG too a lot have take their dances or cries with that said, why do young people like Vanguerard, the Bassist who Is now Is on Heritier if I am not mistaken, Lola Muana Who left the guigarist Who player in 19 Minutes De Ngwasuma join Zaiko? To take the msot recente example Vanguerard the guy with a weird voice Who dances really well, could.have gine ti BCBG, QL, or even Maison Mere since he has good dancing skills but why have he chosed Zaiko instead? To me that's weird being young (now he might be in his 40s or even 50s but he was young when he joined Zaiko) and joinikg Zaiko when there are a lot of banda available. What do you think Is the reasons why the join

Congolese Music / IS THIS TRUE?
« on: December 30, 2021, 06:34 »

The title in Lingala says that Heritier flopped in a free concert in Palais Du People, before confirming I want to know.if It Is true, because you know It might Just have been people still didn't came and maybe wanted to come late. If It Is fake shame on the YouTube Channel that reported It, if t Is true than man this Is another bad news for the gente, Heritier Is not a local Kin musicians Who got lucky and got a hit Song he Is the heir of Werra and if he does this Mpiaka I wonder what smaller artists like Fabro and others must feel when they perform
