Congolese Music / Re: FELIX WAZEKWA NEW SONG IGF CONTROLE
« on: March 05, 2022, 11:48 »

This is a waste of money.

Man that means that conditions are not good for music in Congo. Government still censors what’s being produced? I am in US so literally anything goes music wise, especially in hip hop.

Conditions are not good because of the lack of funding and infrastructure, not censorship.

Censorship should be reinforced with all the bullsh*t I'm hearing today.
Hahahahahahahaha, NGL this comment made me laugh so hard

What about the part that starts at 6:42 in the last vid? I never heard that part in any album before. It sounds like it would've been a hit! You're definitely right,  what ever happened to all of these unreleased cries and partitions.

It has been released, in Diata Bawu a gensriaue.from the Malewa series. From 2:47

Lol i said id log in and i was convinced you'd be the first and only comment
in short he talks about his days before bcbg and the way he created his style of singing, mixing the voices of lokua kanza and reddy amisi with his own touch, and that he was the one who did the prerecord of the song nostalgie given to maison mere by his mentor do akongo
and that surely do forgot when he said that his vocal of francis solution was from eboa because they were working together a lot so they were sharing some of their techniques under his supervision
he talked about the fact he started considering leaving bcbg because after the lockdown bcbg was rehearsing and he was not receiving messages(lol i think he was just too ready to go solo or his accoustics without authorization created gossip which lead to mind games) and was made aware that bcbg rehearsed and they did not see him by fans(when actually it was not complete rehearsals,it was a part of the group like jb likes to do go sometimes, picking a bunch of the group and rehearse for example a particular new song like the way they used to do for a month in a group of maximum 12 musicians the first songs of jb for the initial balle de match project or even zadio)
he talked about all the guys from his workshop who became stars and explained that he was older than them all and had already left his parents and had kids even before bcbg to the level that his third kid is 20 already and in the group of do akongo which became a mix of the group and his private workshop he was the only one then who had responsabilities and who was already paying rent and having a cellphone back in 1999
he stopped class because it was hard to pay for school fees throughout his life and the passion for music had gone too big to extent that he was skipping class for whole days to go and rehearse with do akongo for the whole day then rehearsal again in the night or in the weekend with the whole group
about the fact his name was mentioned as a mentor to many current stars he is then made to explain his relationship with each of them
and he says that omba who is in quartier latin was singing with him but was a wrestler hoping to make his life from it until he asked him do you think that wrestling in the conditions of DRC will make you travel around the world and convinced him to focus on his singing to become a professional singer, robinio was like his pire petit he was already singing and that time doing comedy in a group and with time he improved as a singer and he took him from the workshop to bring him to the do akongo group, ibrator was an excellent overall artist in various types of art not only music and he remembers when he was doing the workshop in their family house which was big and had trees were they could work for long having the protection of the trees against hard sun but he did not want to join do akongo group not seeing himself as a singer destined to the classic format of congolese groups and going to work with jean goubald who does a more "sophisticated" style of music
he talked about fabregas who he discovered as an atalaku doing bill clinton animations which is why until today he is good at generiques, and by seeing them elders work he developped desire to become a singer and did that transition well and he is proud that fabregas' first vocal is his own vocal he was making fabregas work on to train his voice and that vocal made fabregas a star when fabro went and used it in maison mere so he is very proud to have contributed in that
but na filet was brought to the workshop aswell as thierry mugler
atshuda was a judoka and was even actually at some point the champion of kinshasa but the reward he got for that was just ridiculous,a box of 6 drinking glasses and a lantern and he told him little bro do you really think you can live off your talent in judo with such reward  and that he sang well already so he took him to do akongo then bcbg
he was made to talk about what jb represents to him and he says jb is a mentor and the person who gave him the platform to get known from people across the world and that he remains grateful for that, and that he is one the few bcbg musicians who had a privileged relationship outside of the group to extent that jb was taking him to his VIP donors and things like that
he is a really good person overall and was often eating with his band all of them eating with their hands in same plates  but at the same time also on his day he could be cold to maintain a certain authority
they have not talked together for a while but he still sees jb's statuses which shows there is no real bad blood and he sees seguin and talks to him and still talks to some bcbg members like rio who talked with him just before that interview
about the fact some people said he left too early he reminds them that he is actually the longest serving of all the current solo artists having spent 18 years in the group, all other solo artists did less than that so he was patient and he reveals that all those musicians of his workshop went to other groups because he was not leaving bcbg as fast as they thought otherwise they were waiting for him and since fabregas left earlier they grabbed the occasion and that even before fabro leaving he had a lot of offers to go solo from friends from producers other artists and so on but he preferred remaining loyal
and ado told him that he was surprised that he did a generique because he did not really come on the scene through his dancing rather from his singing and he says maybe ado was not paying attention and that he was actually a creator of dance and animation for example the soda mpiko animation and dance, the salvatora ayeee animation and dance to name a few
also about eboa lotin again a lot of people think he is eboa's copycat because they knew eboa first with maison mere's fast promoting system but he was in wenge one year before eboa and remembers the day eboa decided to go for the maison mere test and came to his house and he wished him good luck

Salvatora aye ale Binadam'eeeeeeee
Salvatora aye, NGL nthat Crie and dance were fire man BCBG is so underrated anyway man I didn't know Nono had such a big influence it is sad that he is not as near as successful as Robinio,  Fabro orneven But Na Fillet, I think he is a good artist but he should have chosen Maison Mere

for the fight against corruption and stealing money destined to projects of governement and authorities
in lingala,tshiluba,kiyanzi,kitetela,swahili,kikongo

I applaude this project even tho I am a little disappointed because I was waiting.the "Kaka Bite" & "Bombe" gensriaue with Cascadeur finally getting some space, I think that artists realised that they can't be silent forever and at the end of the day staying quiet hurt artist the most for example.if Congo was a functioning state, Koffi, Werra, JB etc. could be billionaires and probably scare even Nigerian billionaires but the years of corruption left leaders with a population whom you can't really sell in mass, if they country is poor and you have decided to be blind to it? Who is gonna buy your records? Who is gonna pay your concert tickets? Robinio for once said something good in his Ado Yuhe's interview places like Shark Club and Chez Ntemba if there isn't an inversion of tendency in politics of the country 10 to 20 years from now they will close and the average Congolese citizen will prefer to spend his money (if he has any) to buy some food for him and his family rather than wasting it into a Robinio or whoever leader concert. It pains me a lot to see Congolese society and politics so messed up, we should never be in Europe our parents (in my case since I am born in Italy) should have neevr flees the country and I should be eating well and getting massive amount of money in Congo but if the money destined to encourage project for the youth fighting unemployment are stolen how you gonna blame someone for leaving?

I don't even know who this guy is tbh

He rants about Deplick and saying that Chomi was dirty and can't sing lol about Chomi I can understand Robinio being made Chomi straight out said Robinio has a small group despite being the most noticeable member in Chiffre 9 outside of Robinio

I still don't understand how this guy never managed to sing even in a single album, sometimes I wonder what Werra favours because tbh this cried "Beta K.O." at 3:42 with the sweet guitar lick at 3:56:deserved to be in Ingera more than half of Bercy useless cries

Another one who deserved to be in an album was this crie by Sabena Musamariya

2:49

This could have made Sabena into a Post Bill Star like it happened with Roi David but misteriously the crie got taken out of Ingeta

Congolese Music / Re: Daniel 6000 passed away

Rest in Peace. He was ill for many years.

Sorry Who was Daniel 6000? I probably might recognise him in face but I am too young to remember his name

1523
Our journalists and Instagram pages owners are so childish

1524

He talks about his album saying that he wanted to showcase his ability to do different styles because most of his fanbase knew him through dance hits and he had to show  he is able to do more than that, and about his album not blowing super hard from the start he says people have to understand its his first experience and especially he is his own producer so he is not having an experienced structure behind him backing him with funds and promotion plans so he is learning and doing his best
he has many other recorded songs that he will release when he wants and not because of this or that and that his fans should stay tuned because nice things are coming for him
about his new born children he did not want to say much as for him thats his private life,he is happy to become a father even though its new to him to have to stay all night long to take care of a baby and that he can never thank rebo enough for making him a father,he wont disclose the daughter's name or her face until one day it just happens spontaneously
he talked about him meeting bill and the fact bill was threatening to beat him if they meet and he says it was just some media thing and anyways they have gone past it and not only they sat next to each other but they also chatted a lot along with heritier to extent that werra often had to turn around to tell them to calm down, and he salutes bill, they are a family despite all what happened
lol like with other "reunions" and "reconciliations" there is always a good part of people who are upset with it,and the next day you'll have the same guys saying nigerians are head and shoulders above us because they know how to unite better than us
Why did Innoss has forgiven Bill this quick? What have happened?

1525
Who said festivals are bad for big musicians?
Lol, Fally used to say that in the past, also the views thing which he has stopped since Inniss did Yo Pe and since Fally stopped making so many views

1526
Who said festivals are bad for big musicians?

Himself, his singers, the pro' Llyfa internet pages on Instagram and Facebook

Manzambi94 , Why Abed Achour ?

I don't know if you noticed but a lot of Congolese artists even smaller ones like Abel DE Charme etc. Are starting to going to Dubai, Oman and other countries of the Gulf sphere, it is because Abed Achour has been making relationships with GULF Arab officials to make Congolese artists perform, that's why Parking was recorded at Dubai, Werra performed in Oman and now Fally performed in Dubai

1527

Will Fabregas now also make a video lol?

Lol Fabregas couldn't wait anything better than this anyway why have the musician fled if But Na Fillet pays them a salary? Man I think that the group system is about to slowly die
