Rapidly (for the ones who don't know) the Mabanga is a system of Congolese music where people give money to the artist and in exchange for their name shouted in one or plus songs based on the amount of money they gave.
There are two lines of mabanga usually, the first one is recorded when the main song is over in studio with the leader dropping names in a second recording.
The second one is made mostly by atalaku (in the generique) and singers (in the rumbas).
The bizarre fact about Extra is that until 2008-2011 (Obligatoire, Kindoki) if I don't go wrong, Roga Roga was hardly making mabangas and it was singers who were making the main line of Mabangas like Herman, Oxygene, Papy Jah and Papy Bastin, and Doudou Copa or for Atalakus Kila Mbongo, while now it is mainly Roga Roga's
