Symplicity. Plz your reply worries me wtf kind of sins have you been committing thatvyou would defend someone who has a history of predatory abusive behavior and statutory rape??? Fuck that i will judge anybody who is a rapist or murderer or any sick individual. Fuck him and anybody like him

there is 20 years worth of actual evidence. Civil suits filed and settled. He married aaliyah when she was 15 yrs old and started dealing with her even before that. The problem is the lives of black girls are just not valued so no one cares to really confront him.  People continued to support him and call him the king of r&b and celebrate him through all the controversy. Then more evidence arrives again. At least his minions are smart enough to keep 18 yr old (legal age) girls around instead of the 14 yr olds he really likes. The dude is scum and moreover hes washed up and his music was never that good

very sad  comments but combattants do not realise that it is slowly building us congolese a reputation of very wild people and thats dangerous very dangerous
at one point it will end up being a nightmare for those who try to get papers  even in the calmest possible way

THEY KNOW!! these aren't just regular people. they work for somebody of high influence. similar things were happening with jamaican artists surrounding their 'homophobic' lyrics. they couldn't play anywhere in europe for a long time they would be protested many of the biggest artists have been without visas to the states for years. all because of these 'organizations' no one knows they just pop up out of no where and fight the music. these people don't care about congolese people at all! JV has sense because in most movements like this there are people who mean very well but they get infiltrated by crazy people taking advantage of the situation. they probably getting paid by an agency to do this nonsense.

bravo.
seriously hoping this concert is a hit so that the foolishness will cease.

Congolese Music / Re: ROBINIO INTERVIEW WITH JUVENAL
« on: July 15, 2017, 15:47 »
i think as long as artists avoid falling into these journalist traps we could see some change in the 'political' climate of the music. artists like robinio and deplick who are humble and let their music speak for itself are leading examples of maturity. here's hoping this is a trend that catches on. when being interviewed about your career what is it worth to start talking shit about someone else? smh anyway i am loving the progress of this guys career as well. i'm pretty sure the only time i heard him sing before he went solo was in a clip of him deplick and a few others singing backstage at a show so its awesome to see where his drive has taken him without having to wait around for years for singing opportunities under MM. his album is one of the best that came out last year. i look forward to his future offerings

Yeah album overall is good, good luck to them though  with the censorship about papa anatole generique, sex throughout the generique, especially musamaria's part "when you see a tired  girl its because  she received her man's stick when you see a tired man its because he just got out of his woman's hole"

LOL that's a lot. i've heard worse but jeez

Congolese Music / Re: Let's discuss Fally

archos when i have a chance i will make a post re: international and world music you make some very good points. i wanted to bring up the fact that fally has always had "crossover" appeal and already has the formula to do big here without doing an album like tokooos  but its all in how he does it. i honestly don't want to just give tips away for free (lol i'm serious) but from a grassroots level if he's truly bored with just being a known artist in africa/congo and wants to spread his sound. the one that made him famous i could help him. he has the financial support needed. the connections. he has the talent and production. it's the ideas that these artists have that are antiquated. america is in the midst of catching this 'afrobeats' wave with artists like drake and french montana having hits out now using these rhythms. our young congolese rumba artists could carve out a lil space for themselves and gain american fans without having to go off into the deep end (that "magic in the air" song was horrendous. any music that blatantly panders like that falls flat to me).

was talking to my brother yesterday about this guy. i'm beginning to believe all the polemique is just planned to rile up fans (like ibrator leaving his group only to wind up on the same label. seems intentional at this point) then i wake up to this lol hoping soon congolese artists continue to support each other. still use one another as competitive fuel but minus the disrespect and trying to block each others money and success.

he has the potential to be the huge international artist he aims to be. i think a few ppl around him may be too narrow minded as to what it takes so theyre hitting a few hurdles. Hes on the right path though.

Congolese Music / Re: Fally ft r kelly (nidja)
« on: July 08, 2017, 03:52 »
Despite all the hatred on this new release, I'm letting you all know this world album is to prove he can do both, most of you are reacting thinking this a permanent move on his end, he always talked about doing a world album, he's had success with "cross over" song"sweet life" also there's a huge audience for "afro pop beats" or this type of music so don't be surprised if his video's or audio youtube songs reach millions... his album his reaching #1 status on iTunes currently in France. This album won't be forgotten, there's a radio station in Waterloo Iowa, USA KBBG FM 88.1 every Saturday new African music is played 3-5pm central time  certain songs on this album have been added to rotation espescially the R kelly song. Atlanta will soon pick up also.

If he finds the success hes looking for with this album more power to him. doesnt change the quality in comparison to others already doing this kind of music in my opinion. the production just isnt strong. a lot of music gets pushed on the radio that isnt the best being made. it is what it is. clout and money often times speak louder thab talent
