from 3:26 min (I think that its is one of his best sebenes, but its so underrated).

It is btw the last album Popolipo recorded with Zaiko Familia Dei, he decided to stay in France after the tour and joined Quartier Latin some months later. According to Bebe Atalaku, they called Beniko when they were about to return back to Kinshasa and looking for him with Koffi then answering the phonecall, saying that Beniko left, that he will never play for them again calling their band "orchestre moko epola" hahahhahaha.

Zaiko Familia Dei would have been better off if Beniko had been the leader. He looks like a leader and if they allowed him to lead, Zaiko Familia Dei could have really scared Nyoka Longo even more. Mind you, Nyoka Longo was struggling between 1992 to 1995 when they released an album.

You forgot that Ilo Pablo was around (he joined Zaiko in 1973, while Beniko joined Zaiko in 1983), so he would never accept Beniko to become his leader, even Lengi Lenga who joined 8 years earlier then him. I also think that Beniko would want get those responsibilities, because he wasn't there when Ilo Pablo decided to create Familia Dei with Bimi and Lengi Lenga (Beniko Zaiko left 5 months before the split and joined Monza 1er's band) and try to convice the musicians of Zaiko to join their clan.

The problem of Zaiko Familia Dei was that they were cursed, they had also problems with the justice of Zaire after losing the case against Nyoka Longo (he had the Moleka-family and the papers of DV Muanda) and they had also a problem with the wife of Mobutu who promised herself that they would never succeed (she was furious that they performed at the birthday of her twin-sister in Portugal who had also children with Mobutu).

Nyoka Longo was not struggling between 1992 and 1995, he had still a huge succes with new cries like ca c'est bon ca, otshule, sala musala etc. and the new songs Mukaji and Molingano which theywere performing in concerts (back in the days the used to perform new songs before the official relrease of the album). The only problem was that in the years 1992 and 1993, important bandmembers started to die (Zamuagana, Alpha Kopeya and Shiro Vuemba). So it made them put their activities often on pause with in meantime alot of people accusing Nyoka Longo for sacrificing his bandmembers and youngsters getting scared from then to join Zaiko. Baroza, Adamo and Malage were getting frustrated for not being able to release songs (Avis de Recherche already being an album with only songs of Nyoka Longo and Meridjo), so they recorded an album which made them getting suspended. Then in 1994 Zaiko went finally on tour and recorded Avis de Recherche after being  awaited for a long time in Europe after those VHS's of concerts who were a huge succes then (FIKIN, Zamba Playa, Intercontinental and fara-fara against Wenge) with the album getting released in early 1995. Solist Yoto Nkelani "Delta Force" paid then a tribute to Shiro Vuemba by playing the sebenes of Zekira & Nzete Ya Mbila exactly the way Shiro played it when they were preparing the album in Kinshasa in 1992 just before he died.

But after the succes of Avis de Recherche, the drama continued and they would lose Mbuta Matima (who was already since 1992 in the hospital), Omela Toko and Baroza. All those deaths put Zaiko in a bad daylight.

Bako Bandela was the last album of Familia Dei all together after that Beniko, Djebra and Jose Lema departed to stay in Europe in 1993 Ilo Pablo was absent so Lengi Lenga took leadership until 1996.
