I have seen Bill Clinton's recent antics. But it is nothing new. It reminds a bit of Koffi Olomide. I am not saying that Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide are the same exactly but they have common traits among themselves.

1) They both believe that they are the greatest of all times.
Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide both like to speak as if they are the number one people and no one else can pass them. While most artists believe this, they have a tendency to go overboard sometimes.

2) They both try to minimize their mentors.
Koffi Olomide and Bill Clinton like to act like that they were entirely self-made or they like minimize the roles of their mentors whom help them get their feet going. Koffi's mentor was Papa Wemba and Bill Clinton's mentor was Tutu Callugi. Last year, Bill Clinton implied that Tutu Callugi made no impact on Congolese music. On Koffi's recent interview with Ado, you can notice that Koffi did not really want to speak on Papa Wemba much.

3) They like to create conflicts
Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide appear to enjoying creating conflicts. With Koffi Olomide, it is with JB Mpiana, Nyoka Longo, Werrason, Papa Wemba, Fally Ipupa, Ferre Gola, and even Pepe Kalle (at least according to Nyoka Longo). With Bill Clinton, it is Ferre Gola, Celeo Scram and Tutu Callugi. Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide are the ones who probably have the poorest relation with their fellow Conglese music colleagues. They both like doing diss songs at others. Bill Clinton has done songs insulting Werrason while Koffi has attacked Papa Wemba, Nyoka Longo and even Fally Ipupa on his songs.

Agree or disagree?
