What Adolphe said about the Bercy VHS is true. Volume 2 wasn’t supposed to be released, they released it to calm Adolphe down who went then Monaco to think about his future.

i think in reality adolphe joining maison mere was not "too natural" friendship wise, adolphe was by far closer to jb since they were friends since 1971 or so just like blaise and makaba were closer to jb naturally but he activated ruthless leadership plan
except from jb werra did not have a very very close friend among the singers which is why when the split happened he wanted alain mpela along with ferre so bad to have somebody he likes and trusts, not that he hated tata but they were not super super friends
and part of what tata endured to be fair,he indirectly put himself in that situation,in the last year of wenge he started suddenly calling  werra "vieux na nga" and giving werra "too much respect" which weakened him already in terms of leadership(the same would happen with blaise bula mentioning every jb nickname like he is jdl lol)
What goes over most people's head is that Adolphe barely participated in Feux de L'amour, he only had one vocal but the focus was more on Werra barely participating either by only having two vocals.

Nice memory, ndeko! Werrason had a short vocals on Top Modele and Masuwa, with Tata singing only on Masuwa.

Didn't JB & his BCBG guys do the same to Alain Makaba, Blaise & Aimelia?

Adolphe participated little to feux de l'amour for two reasons, first being that jb felt betrayed by him for suddenly rooting for a wenge album when they were in europe and siding with werra on that idea, while they came from africa having agreed to work on feux de l'amour only and maybe pre records of group album if there are sessions left
the second reason is that 3 songs did not make the cut in feux de l'amour(and which by the way seem to have never been released)
there was the duet with werra, a viva la musica like song with adolphe giving a lot of mabanga to sapeurs and a french song makaba came with so tata would have had at least his vocal plus several parts on his song with jb

I feel like Werra’s 12 was much worse than Jb’s 12. Yeah Jb abandoned Blaise at the hospital, forbid Makaba to be on stage at zenith till the end and not tell Aimelia about TH recordings, but Werra took it to a different level that any other person would’ve beaten him to a pulp if they were Masela and Adolphe.
