Thank you Mr Admin for getting us another site. May I suggest a moderate forum name like vibes'delengi or something to that effect. Congovibes is ok but a bit"specialist" in the sense that the name suggest everything is about Congo and not music in general.

Thank you

Welcome Werra and thank you for your feedback, will consult the technical team to find out if it's still possible to change the name since we've already bought the domain name congovibes.
Will keep posted.

First of all, thanks for informing me about the new forum. Vibes d'Afrique was by far the best forum on the net, and it needed to be brought back to life again.
As for the name, I won't object to it, nor will I let it prevent me from posting about other styles of African music. As we all know, Congo vibes aren't as vibrant today as they used to be
Anyway, let's keep the flame burning!

First and foremost, one important thing is the forum is back.....Now can I suggest: That the forum theme or color changes from brown to a more friendly one, could be blue/white.....at least a color that is nice....this one is a bit painful to the eye...

One + thing I have seen is that, the registration process is easy...

Hello Werrasonique
I had a word with the technical team, changing the name of the forum would mean changing the domain name too and then everyone would have to be re-invited and join the new site,it's a bit so maybe let's try and maintain this name since we've always specialised in Congolese music even on the old forums, let's see how it goes.

Thanx

personally i was not on vibes de afrique but my concern is that if anything happens to this site today just like the previous one how will members come together again. There was serious panic on my part when I could not access this site for like two days in arrow sometime back and I mean ,I did not even get any explanation on what happened. Dj sly are details of all members been recorded somewhere in case anything happens?

You don't have to worry about that. DJ SLY owns the adress: www.congovibes.com, so the community won't disappear now. Things are now managed privately.
