It was because of the rumour started by La Zamba staff that Baby wanted Mampata and tried to sleep with her and got caught. I don't know if the rumour is true. I think it isn't but Mampata and Baby were really close, now from being close to being the lover of your boss are two different things. I don't think it was true, I just think Werra loved Baby a lot and gave him a lot of responsabilities which of course as you know will create endless jealousy on the staff of the leader end. Tbh Werra kinda killed his own goldennl generation of singers by paying attention to naysayers (Like Sankara, PiRoger and to some extent Kakol) rather then deal with things himself, now Maison Mère is just a shadow of what it was.

yes baby being the second most influent member of the group behind and sometimes on par with ferre,werra saw him as a big traitor as his name was involved in musicians starting to moan about their conditions of life,receiving less and less salary while they had increasing responsabilities in their families
at that airport event where musicians refused to go to zimbabwe to finish kibuisa werra gave baby the rudest insults in lingala promising to make him pay,as he feared the group was disbanding with him remaining with his loyal soldiers ali mbonda and kakol,but his late ex-best friend wasenga kimpuni stepped in to bring back peace
and to appease ferre and baby he promised them to authorize them to bring contracts to the group and take percentage,which was already the advantage the admins had so they felt threatened to lose that,and they used the strategy of ruining totally relationship with baby with rumours,as werra knew that baby was close to mampata,he was always there for mampata even if she had a  flight at 5 of the morning to kinshasa baby would bethere to drive her,it was like a big sister/little brother relationship so they used what could fuel doubt in werra's head
so werra dropped that project and suspended baby,and it upset ferre even more to leave since he had already contracts in line
