its jb who messed up mix of soyons serieux,you'll notice the songs mixed and recorded in europe with patience and focus (all the jb songs plus mombamba and zakoko's songs) have a better sound quality while many of the other ones were mixed in hurry and thats hopefully the mistake they avoided this time i was also upset against kibens but i was informed he just followed recording steps while jb and the keyboard guys did the rest this time he was given a lot more of responsability as he was trained by arranger guylain tamba,we'll see what will happen with the final results
From 11th even through serious coughing the man hits high notes (which is not the easiest of things for a deep voice singer) much better than me in my top form
he says he has not gone solo but he did generique for a group of friends,i believe there has been some problems between him and his friend but something minor,surely over how he missed a lot of the album recording to go to states and how he did not rehearse with the group for a huge while but then again we know how it is when musicians start to have leadership ambition(since doing session work for other artists has never been a problem for them)
from 21ST minute Like his petit wazekwa he does not do solo albums anymore only albums with some songs of group members he says he did a song about tribalism in drc because he is seeing that until today there still some people who hire only guys from their tribe and such things and he wants to fight against it and invite congolese people to be united regardless of the region they are from,he then sing some song extracts especially the much awaited caligula(which he has been annoucing for about 4 years now) which is already interpreted as an attack towards koffi because there is a part which says " a woman who came to look for a job did not come to look for marriage" as in the song he is talking about caligula who was known for being a massive sex addict who'd sleep with any woman at any occasion including his employees and relatives so people link it with koffi/cindy(like some do for jb's correction) he says he did 3 of the songs of album for free as he is very grateful to those people who helped him a lot in his career
i was just listening to jb's correction on tv and i said to myself last year it was generiques which saved groups,it seems this year most of the big stars wanted to hit hard with a rumba first,mopepe completely overshone all the generiques in fabregas album as soon as people had albums in their hands,wata released bm and not(officially) a generique,ferre released manix and not a generique i am saying to myself if jb had released correction in these days it would have caught more attention we have seen almost the opposite phenomenon of 2015 no generique really dominated the year while the likes of bm are played sometimes up to 20 25 times on request in a bar in kin in the same day robinio's generique is doing good but i feel like people were also expecting a viral rumba from him and he seems to have got the message and is promoting his rumbas much more than generiques these days
yeah he is really good especially when interpreting old classics i have seen him do some grand hotel shows of old classics and people were even crying because of how well he used that soulful voice he has to intepret it
