like david monsoh said about fally, for a very big project(like the one which lead fally where he is today) its after the 4th album or 5th that producer can really get money back
yes they support ivorian artists aswell but until not so long ago any of the francophone countries' big producers wanted or had congolese artists,it was like  reaching the top for them ( if we list  album released the last 20 years maybe 10 per cent were produced by congolese guys)

As archos has started, it is very difficult to sell especially the first record, the production overheads are too much especially if the recording artist is featuring other artists on the album. Things do not always go smooth, sometimes equipment gets messed up and data lost so you start all over again. I think David Monsoh made a significant amount of money of Fally's first CD but off course that was Fally's first so am sure David played his cards right in order to retain more profit.

These days, actual CD's don't sell much due to piracy, everyone is going digital especially with all these gadgets around, people want music on the move so they want to access it anytime and when am album is out, they want it instantly without having to queue up at shops hence all these gadgets and streaming services like iTunes by Apple , Beats by Dr Dre etc and just on this, am sure we all know that Dr Dre's Beats overshadowed Apple's iTunes and hence the richer Apple decided to buy Beats from Dr Dre and his friend who came up with a unique service, combining quality headphones and music streaming services.
