I saw an interview with Fally and he was asked if he’s releasing a new album this year and he said yes Tokosss 3 but the problem is he can’t release it now because Formule 7 is still going strong and is still hot in the charts especially in Kin and Europe as if it just came out because many songs are still getting success even if they weren’t in the beginning. This is true because the 3 arena concerts he did managed to boost the album more and in Kin it’s still the number one album being played.
Is this one of the reasons why it takes years for albums to come out now apart from the fact that albums now have 30+ songs and long gone are the days when it used to be 12 tracks.

Yes, for example going into America and into a different genres: NBA YoungBoy was used to release a lot of albums and in the beginning fans loved it but now they have it because he has too much musci going on, imagine a 30 songs album one month and then another 30plus song albums, JB did that and except Zebuka do peoole really know any of the BDM songs?

Yeah the key is promotion, but in the US we are truly flooded with music some being good and others not soo great. NBA youngboy is a great example although I like a handful of tracks from him.

BDM has been my favorite actually. But I am a huge JB fan. Fally Formule 7 I have not played it since to be quite honest. Except the songs that were recommended to me here. I am just super curious on how the Congolese music scene is going. I feel like albums I enjoy don’t get much success.
