I am curious to know which of these albums were recorded in part or fully in Europe? And how many in Kinshasa?

Dear Friends! I know you are all over the world, with deaths due to Corona virus everywhere including Congo Kinshasa, the death of Ya Aurlus Mabele, I just wanted to say thank you for all the posts, all the love you show for african culture and music in general. Reading this forum helps to cope with these signs of the times. Please be safe you all and much love to you all even if you might be isolation, alone or with your family.

Much Respect to all of you especially all the mvuamas who are living encyclopedias of Congolese music.

how can you replace someone who is almost the same age?
Ferres Fallys and co. are already old men....tell me of someone of the age of the like of Bebe Tshanda,  Innos B etc in Congolese music no one ever replaces others....who REPLACED Lwambo? Madilu? what about Grand Kalle?
Everyone does his thing...
You call Ferre, Fabregas future stars?, well they have been in bands for the last 20 to 25 years, so far they didnt make an impact, big enough to be like the others...

I have been following Jupiter since he was discovered by the west...ie around 2005...I met him in Kin and he is one of the most serious and focused musician...
His latest album earned him a page and an article in the New York Times, a piece in the Guardian, Der Spiegel and many renowned world papers. I went to one of his concerts last summer in the US..and I tell you it was very entertaining...they seem to be getting a lot of money from the concerts....also after the US they did many concerts in Mexico.
He is a son of a diplomat who decided to go back to Congo and abbandon the rich and posh life.

Funny that Obama listens to him while not many on this forum care about him or even people in the Congo....I have a DVD about him that was made circa 2005...go on youtube and search Jupiters Dance.

He also collabotated with Damon Albarn.

I see Obouo music still behind him....Monsoh always likes shorter generiques like he did with JBs.

I give it a 6.

Not too shabby.

This is one of best songs ever on recent years.

Finally turning around....promotion is taking off...Tabu is respected and watched by many.....and  it is good to see that he is also a big fan of Rendekita so that helps a lot...

 Part 2

Interesting points

1 ALexandrine was written by Arthur Kadima-Nzuji himself
2. All lyrics  are sent to Rasta Bob Deya who has the final say and is the master lyricis. He wrote the song of Llievain Ngasthie
3. Pire Pirate seems like it was directed to Werra (As Archos earlier pointed out) this is because he mentions two administors of WMM like Elliot Mondobe and considers them acquited from the wrongs of Werra..
4. He acknowledges JB, Dominguez and Makaba in the album and he has nice things to say about Mpela
5. Ziggy Marley/his young Bro did a phenomenal job in the album, he actually started singing before Blaise. He got in QL with Suzuki and Modogo, they were practicing at Bula's home.
6. Simon Lungalala  the 'owner' of the song bearing his name died but he was the first one to have paid so Blaise made sure that his song was the first on CD 2, and he has a lot of respect for him
7. Callugis intervention  was flowless
8. I believe its one of the Best albums in the past 2 years
