I don't know tho about East DRC music pedigree except for Pepe Kalle and Innoss and also Cappuccino and Brigade who all four still making Lingalaphone music. The only successful Congolese coming to mind who made Music in Swahili was Remmy Ongala who actually transferred in Uganda so yes he left Congo
