I forgot about the possibility/inevitability of almost an entire band staying in Europe. Maybe there was some behind-the-scenes drama we don't know about that resulted in this lineup staying behind.

I met Kakol the other day in a shop, I also saw some maison mère musicians roaming around Tottenham, some even came to a Congo party in a park last Sunday. The problem was Werra already left a week before  and the musicians were meant to follow a week later which obviously didn’t go as planned.

Inongo stayed behind?

If JB Immeble, Gino Bass, Chida and Inongo left, it would be a good thing. A wake up call for Werrason. How can you have 3/4 of your musicians leave amidst preparation for an album? He needs to get back to running his band seriously a day change a lot of things. He has become too casual, no promotion and he nolonger puts in much effort...more like the band is on auto pilot.

Time have changed…we will never see Maison Mere like before. People need to realise those days are over and it’s now the new generation

What about the guitarist Makaba Arc en Ciel? If he’s gone I truly think it’s over for werrason. He was the reason I still kept listening to all of the repetitions/concerts until now.

I just don't know,  but with a new album coming out this may work out well for Werrason . He has a history of coming back strong after defections. Will the album be recorded in Kin?

Werrason has a lot of weaknesses. What I know though is that in terms of artistry, he is a true formateur. Expect a full line-up of very good instrumentalists and vocalists within this month doing the same energetic repetitions we are used to seeing from Maison Mere.  They will still be packed to the rooftops by fans. It's like he was already prepared for this like one of us mentioned here and had started propping up the deuxieme equipe of the likes of Matshuda
