What happened to Serge Mabiala? After Kibusia Mpimpa, he was limited to a few vocals for A La Queue Leu Leu despite him being present for much of the album's recording and promotion.

When did he leave Masion Mere and why? I'm guessing he still no longer a member when the group recorded Tindika Lokito, because a bunch of new singers were recruited.

@Congolitude

Singers with an aggressive recording and performace schedule can develop nodules in their vocal cords that can start bleeding and eventually scar if they don't take enough time for rest. With age, those muscles don't recover as fast so the damage they recieve from being overworked is more lasting.

After a long career of concerts and studio recording, Doudou Copa simply wore out his voice. Maybe he should consider surgery to remove those nodules, but it's expensive. Adele had to recieve surgery and she is ten years younger than Copa.

@Matebu

What are the responsibilities of a government deputy in Congolese government? Depending of what those task are, maybe Werrason could do okay with a helpful staff around him to given advice.

Thank you, this guy is a legend! Is Blanchard is living well financially? I hope he was given the money he deserved, he has blessed these artist with a lot of classic songs for many years!

I wish the Congolese music industry had something similar to SACEM to protect musicans and ensure they are properly paid for their work.

I am familar with the works of Pascal Poba, Elderado, and Do Akongo but do you know who Bogus Bompema is and what has he written? Also what is a proverb compared to the song's actual lyrics?

I'm still learning the people behind the scene in Congolese music, so forgive my ignorance. What songs is Blanchard Mosaka responsible for composing? He is very knowledgeable of the industry! I'm surprised I don't hear from him as much as the others

Why the regret?

@mvulusi96

Has any of our Congolese artists ever charted on the music charts abroad like SNEP? All those people who showed up for Zenith, Olympia, and so forth were commerical consumers of those albums being bought from major distributors.

Damn, I never would of guessed that guy would have criminal connections. He seemed so professional from the way he ran his company, the albums he produced were well recorded with great clips

Where was Alain Makaba?

@Matebu

What made JPS production fail? This is the label behind many of the most impactful albums of the late 90s and early 2000s from Wenge Musica Masion Mere, Madilu System, Extra Musica Zangul, Meiway, and many others!

Let us continue to honor his legacy by preserving his music and introducing it for the generations to come.

Rest in power, Papa Simaro

@Manzambi94

It's looking like it was done by a hungry street dude who wanted to rise rank by killing a celebrity. My friend has family in South Central, the streets have been tense since his death.

Nipsey was really about socioeconomic empowering his people, he created Vector90 with the goal of launching several black businesses in Los Angeles.

He wanted to promote a new generation of Black engineers from the inner cities by focusing vigorous science and math coarses for the youth; those who aquire degrees in STEM related fields earn the highest salaries in the United States private work force.

Nipsey was also producing a documentary on Dr. Sebi and his successful court battle against elites within the medical community who tried to discredit Dr. Sebi's natural approach to medicine which showed evidence of curing AIDS among other serious diseases.

I won't go into much detail, but there is talk of foul play. The murder seems professionally done given his recent social activism. He didn't protest, he didn't go on the news to push his agenda...he took his money from music and directly funded programs for Black people in the streets. His social programs very much mirrors Fred Hampton of the Black Panther movement. Out of respect for his family, I cannot speak on the crime itself any further.

My thoughts and prayers go to his wife Lauren and his two children
