In 1992, Papa Wemba performed 3 days in a row at "Théâtre Gérard Philippe de Saint-Denis". He performed there without being backed by a band, doing there acapella shows.

Wemba was to humble. Other artists would have noise about it and reminding people every year that they performed 3 days a row in Paris by just doing accapella's.

It would be interesting to see if Ferre Gola or Fally Ipupa could do the same thing in future and seeing what impact it would have on the public.
