I am curious why do I have to use a private browser to login? I’m using safari on iPhone and it no longer lets me access out of a non private browser to get in.

What happens when you try visiting the forum in normal Safari mode? It displays the error screen of the host? Show the screenshot please.

This is an internet glitch. Not the forum. It is an annoying problem of how internet works. The mistake is done by your browser, in this case Safari. Browsers save the website ip addresses, and store it to be able to load the forum faster. I have changed subscription, so the forum is at a new address by now, even if the dot com name is the same. However your browser still stores the old address, and want to reach the  forum there. And it doesn't find it. This is a glitch of browsers. I cannot do anything about it on my side. You have two options: 1. You visit the forum in private mode for a while, until your browser forgets the old address and then you can reach the forum in normal mode too. 2: you delete your browser history in the settings and then you can reach the forum in normal mode immediately. However, in that case you will need to relogin to every site you were logged in due to deleting your history.

do you use this link ? http://congovibes.com/index.php

If you see the error screen posted, you can use that address too to reach the forum. But the solutions are the ones I mentioned in my previous message.

Okay so these are your options:

1. Delete your browser history in the settings of your browser. Then, visit the site typing this: http://congovibes.com/index.php Your phone will save the new address of the site and from that moment when you start typing "congovibes" it will take you to the proper place.

2. If you don't want to clear the history because you need the places where you are already logged in, type http://congovibes.com/index.php all the time you visit the site. After a while your browser will forget the previous ip address, will save the new one, so from that moment you only need to start typing 'congovibes...' and it will take you to the proper place automatically.

Make sure you type the http... part. The forum is on http, not https, the browser automatically want to take you on https if you don't type http, that's why you see the 'your connection is not private message'. But if you clear your history, you only need to type the long address once, from that moment the browser will save it and use that when you start typing 'congovibes...'

This is how the internet borwsers work recently. It is not very good for old sites like Congovibes. So you need to use these solutions.
