What I know is that his name is Siana Tshimanga 'Polystar Coréen(pronounced almost as Korean) I understand he was previously with Bozi Boziana's Anti Choc as a soloist and there are some songs on youtube where he is shown playing solo. He joined Wenge Maison Mére in 2002.
sly post some videos that show him in anti choc..

Congolese Music / COREEN OF WMM

Coreen is an extremely talented rhythmist that I enjoy listening to him...by the way I noticed the techno malewa beat is stronger on the rhythm than solo....
anyone with Coreen story when did he join wmm, does he hold any position, from which group did he came from..etc

Arches comment on the mabangas that artists get on shouting some names is those that got to individuals artists not the band or the leader..by the way bin laden has been calling out tedday tendai since 2009.
how is the album mabanga shared out ?

Congolese musicians don't give their best when performing in Africa.
Congolese crowd knows how to appreciate artists..imagine Zulema crooning to a Nairobi crowd he would be disappointed by the reception as opposed to the Kin crowd.I started a thread sometime on why most Congolese band would not be a hit in Kenya and I received a lot of flak. I attended Ferrer concert in Nairobi and the crowd was boring.
my take on ballads they are the way to showcase chanteurs skills..notice there are more chanteurs than atalakus. ballads also showcase instrumentalists skill..this is apart from the obvious..money from mabanga..

lastly what do you call ballads that turn to sebenes? would these be a compromise ?

Those soukous drums mess up the song,it would have been much better with the drums they usually use
soloists ficarré of bcbg, depolka professeur tournesol from cultura, mogratana then in viva and kapaya in maison mere participated to the song

I saw the one that also included a viva atalaku..is it this one ?

Just asking what do you think of between JB and Were a relation with other artists..JB seems to get along with other artsts better than Werra ....is there any particular reason ? I have more videos of other artists visiting JB repetitions than Were a...maybe am biased...I have seen artists from viva wmm ql visit and even perform with him. when I have time I will post a show I liked with many visiting artists...your take ?

if he was more disciplined he could have had the role djino had before leaving
[/quote
