particularity of this song is that its almost done with proverbs only
shame those type of arrangements have almost disappeared and back then he was not trying singing higher than his natural voice

So Wazekwa is a well known classical author famed for his aphorisms and verbs. It appears that this much famed attribute of his intelligence is not celebrated enough but just mentioned in passing.

Can we start to list the proverbs please in Lingala then in English translation?

Felix Wazekwa knew how to make his proverbs memorable then. Also it helped the fact he worked with the likes of Solo Sita, Ballou Canta, Nyboma, Shimita and Luciana in the choirs before making his own band.

Nyboma got to be one of the most underrated parolier (lyricist) artist of Congolese music until 2006 if I am not mistaken there wasn't a project where Nyboma hadn't written or hadn't partecipated. Why is he so underrated tho?

Nyboma isn’t really know as one of the biggest songwriters. He’s more known as one of the best singers. He used to be in 70s one of biggest stars in Zaïre having hits when being in the band Lipua Lipua and his own band Kamale. Things changed when he settle in West Africa to replace Sam Mangwana in African All Stars and later making soukous music, which made him being forgotten in Kinshasa, despite many session work as singer in multiple albums in the 80s & 90s and duo-albums Moyibi & Zouké Zouké he made with Pepe Kalle
