So I was listening to Alerte Generale, because I thought some bass lines were similar to Attentat's and I needed to be sure. As I kept listening, I realised that every instrument on it was on point. This has Flamme Kapaya's aggressive, fast-paced guitar playing, backed up by Thierry Mogratana's organ-sounding mi-solo and Polystar keeping it together on the rhythm. Then you have Michel Bass playing in a fashion that would make Lofombo smile in glee, Papy Kakol being as energetic as ever on the drums and Rubin Synthe playing danceable partitions that would rival that of Jeremy Kitubu and Theo Bidens.

Admittedly, Celeo's 'bako kende, bako zonga' cry was not enough to counter Bill Clinton's 'muziki ba koko wana, elala' cry on 7eme Lecon, but the overall energy from this Maison Mere unit and the introduction of the young Roi David was more than enough to make up for it. There was a reason you heard this at almost every Congolese party for the next few years. Werrason really had to prove to the public that he still had it after the split, and Alerte Generale was the statement that screamed 'We're not done yet!'

At 11:14 Werra was sooo... on the end.

Not on the same level like Jeu Muke when Vieux Poly played Mi-Solo on Alerte Generale.

come on guys, its not poor old me or shamala the responsible of whatever happens or not
Ndeko we know it’s not you and shamala, it’s just banter my guy  ;D :D

Kiekie it’s just banter as we’re used to some artists having a devout fan club delegation on threads.

Maybe our esteemed Brother Shamala though (with all due respect) as his signature literally states : « PORTE-PAROLE NON OFFICIEL DE JB MPIANA ET WENGE BCBG. »

Kiekiekiekie PORTE PAROLE NON OFFICIEL DE JB ET BCBG ? c'est pas vrai

In 1999 he joined Zaiko when Poison was already finished. He participated on Feeling, Eureka and Empreinte.

I heard that JB take only Gentamicine (who just left Anti Choc) to Zenith instead of him, which made him join Quartier Latin for a little time (along with Bendoson) and left again before the recordings of Attentat in South Africa (when they came for Kora Awards).

The music he makes sell well, but he needs to be careful. French people will never put him in the same category of Naza, Dadju and Keblack. They will always put him the category of rumba-artist, by the way he always presented in that way in French media. Soon of late, they will dump him, there are already some who see him as an imposter. Tokooos 2, needs to succeed, otherwise it will be mean the end of his "international" career in France (tommorow he's 42 years old, which is already very old for the commercial section). Because Tokooos vol. 1, was a flop, because it wasn't even able to get a gold record, despite those many guests of a big dimension (Booba, Shay, MHD,Keblack, Aya Nakamura and R. Kelly). Only two single d'or for the featerings with Aya Nakamura and Booba, which is insufficient. It had at least to get double single platine, because the dimension and fanbase of these artists. Let’s see how Tokoos 2, will be received. I heard that Fally’s goal, is to get nominated for the Grammy Awards. That will be very hard, especially when the album isn’t semi-acoustic. But it isn’t impossible, Burna Boy got nominated for the coming edition.

Could he put one new congolese sebene like Ecole on Tokooos Vol.2 ?

You could never recognize Sam Tshintu so blond. If he changes his hair color back to black, you can see him better.

He also participated on Rigo Star's Formule 1 album that year.

But i think that Rigo Star just released the reissue of few songs of Sam, Koffi and Pepe Kalle that year. Because Oh and Ba sons (Emeneya), Mbadi Mawe and Distortion (Madilu) and another one (Malage) were recorded in Rigo's house. The album was recorded when Koffi was busy with Olympia, Zenith, Droit de veto and just before Pepe kalle's death.

Yes, Coupe-Decale doesn't have the same impact it had like in the years 2003-2010. But when I talk about Coupe Decale, its the Coupe Decale style of Kin-Brazza, which include tribal rhythms of mongo-music or something that of the Bakongo, with the songs often being about sex.

The first generation coupe-decale in Kinshasa and Brazza, were those who came in 2006. Papy Mbavu with Kotazo and DJ Nzete Ousama with Yako Tia.

that part if so funny from 4:58 min (allez petite longola forme hahahahhahaa he's crazy)

Ya Papy hahahahahaha so crazy.

After the release of Awilo's Superman, In 2009 Koffi used also to do that in Chicottte a Papa (without Bass, Guitar Solo and the sebene) & Werra in Techno Malewa Automatique and Radio Version on Sans Cesse. The problem is that Werrason didn't record Techno Malewa Mécanique on Suite et fin only the sebene of Nzambe aza malamu (Papy's song). Years long before the release i was waiting for Mecanique instead of Coupe Decale-Style on that album like he used to record Mecanique on the last minute in Kinshasa for Sans Cesse, but on the end i see only the name Automatique, Radio Version and Instrumemtal with the Coupe Decale-Style.

On TH he just animated on song (Mohammed Kaniansy), back when they recorded  TH in 1999, they didnt really finish the album when the tour ended.  They had to return with Gentamicine to add his cries he did in Ya Pas Match (Betu Bana ba Wenge, Soki wangani souverain bako tia singa na kingo, etc.) in the remained sebene-songs and Burkina Faso to correct some lines. But JB prefered to bring some ngulu's instead of them and went only with Mpela, Tutu and Titina. So Tutu Calugi put his new cries (those tshiluba cries and saka-saka animation) in those "piste" who were meant for Gentamicine, they invited Caien Madoka to help them out and recorded new songs like Leaureats 2000 and Accappela.

Ok. Gentamicine had alot of power with his voice after leaving Anti Choc.

Zola Tempo Sébastien (the guy on right) was the arranger of Bana OK. On the same time he arranged Simaro's Ingratitude, later on Proces, Paul Ndombe's Bula Ntulu and Zaiko's new album. He lives in Kinshasa.

Suprise to see him with Ramazani and Alpatchino on that picture, but Alpatchino himself only animate on 3 songs and didn't singing, only Ramazani played lead on many songs. With the guests stars like Manda Chante, Madilu System, Josky Kiambukuta, Shakembo (he did only mabanga on some songs), Jean Goubald, Lassa Lacolyte, Patcheko Luyindula, Reddy, Endo Ndumba and 2 gospel singers also participate on that album.

When Simaro was very busy with recording Ingratitude, he said in the studio that Zola only played the christian music (the Interview came from VHS Bouro Mpela left Academia).

Looks like this album was a compilation, one with christian music, rap-song, ndombolo, zouk and some rumba-songs. It was recorded before Rama's departure of Nouvelle Ecriture along with Bendo, Christian Essanga "Na Nzenze' and Pompom Miyake.

But the album flopped.
