he talks first about papa wemba 's death saying a lot of people in DRC had forgotten about him or were not taking him seriously anymore since those days were nouvelle ecrita kind of died with almost everybody leaving and people from abroad took him more seriously than us and its a symbol that he passed away abroad and  got honoured first abroad and its like he knew it
he goes on to talk about polemic, and he faults zacharie bababaswe for that phenomenon because even though it helped guys and himself get much richer and when asked about the fact koffi was not welcome for example because of polemic, and he says its sad that because of their polemic, koffi and wemba missed kester funerals, koffi missed wemba and unfortunately neither kester and wemba will be alive when koffi passes away
and another bad side of polemic is that for example  when a musician of  bcbg arrives at funerals he'll want to have more success than a maison mere one  have a better car and so on ( its  just a way to say what used to happen and still happens a bit  in general with most groups) and that many guys who were at papa wemba's funerals came for their own buzz first and foremost
he is asked about why the artists did blindly follow zacle's idea, and he says they understood they could make money with it,and also  for their ego they could not accept receiving an attack and not hit back and gives example of how viva guys called koffi mutu nguba(head with the form a peanut) and quartier latin guys said shamazulu(big nose) and how koffi did malanda ngombe to attack wemba and wemba replied and it went too far so it was not easy to forget no matter what
he does not believe in artists doing reunions for peace and says its only a way to get good money from authorities and some will not even be fair in sharing, and refers to how 10 years ago 15 musicians visited president kabila to present maisha park and he gave 15K dollars for "gas" (1000 each) and koffi and a couple of other guiys took more than 1000 in it
he reminds whats for him the first big event of polemic on national tv,when koffi performed at stade des martyrs the first time( which was obviously not as popular as the other one) and there was heavy rain and wind, and zaiko members were interviewed later by zacle and they mocked it saying they were the one who sent that rain to disturb koffi's concert
franck stemay says polemic exists everywhere not just in DRC and even in states some artists organize murders, and thierry replies that those rivalry he talked about are about gangs and drugs and those type of things, whereas polemic in DRC is over very stupid stuff
and some conflicts were born just because a spokesman or staff member of an artist reported to him that another artist was dating one of his girlfriends and without even checking they start hating the other musician
he says there was rivarly between franco and tabuley but they never insulted each other in songs whereas jb and werra attacked each other but fortunately jb and werra understood recently they have to move on from that, and also it was helped with the time factor as people of their generation(fans) grew up and did not necessarily have time to keep getting involved into that game as in the past so it naturally created a context for peace and he says its a good thing because their rivalry had split almost the whole country,a lot of people died because of their rivalry and he congratulates them for how they understood before it was too late, unlike koffi wemba kester
he believes musicians could have had success even without insulting the rivals we did not like chantal for example because werra insulted jb in it and insists polemic was a bad thing because when you do something you'll know whether it was a good thing or a bad one thanks to its impact afterwards and its easy to say that even though they benefited somehow from it polemic had a very bad impact on them
and he says he does not like tribute songs for artists for him its a waste of time because the guys did not necessarily honour their colleague when alive and when he's gone they praise him and he credits madilu system for having done a praise song for sylvie mampata and werrason before he passed away and reveals that  in discussions with musicians over organization of papa's funerals reddy said he'd want to do a own tribute song and requested funds from the governor andre kimbuta who was surprised since reddy always said papa wemba was his father and he adds that reddy did not lack funds to pay studio session but its too stuck in musicians' mind to ask for money when they meet authorities and this for example when you know it even if you know reddy sincerely loved papa wemba you'll question yourself which is why he is not  a fan of tribute songs for artists who died and ever since madilu's funerals it has become a big business for artists, proof with werra who was pissed of not being in organization commitee and he says if its not because he knew there would be good money which he missed out on,werra just  could have mourned papa wemba quietly without complaining and that system will continue when other artists die in the future unfortunately
another thing he dislikes in congolese music is obsesson for sex  and says young guys are influenced by songs  and gives example of ferre's kiti ya libaya and says ferre is now old enough to be the father of most teenagers and if a guy listens to that song with a teenager who sees ferre as an idol it will be very easy for him to get what he wants thanks to what ferre sang(come to me and i'll remove your clothes and f... you on the couch)  and wonders how they are so addicted to sex being in songs or in their lives and gives example of how koffi liked a girl among a group of girls who visited jordan kusa  and koffi told jordan to let one of the girl who caught his attention come to him and the girl said she preferred jordan and other quartier latin musicians confirmed she was jordan's girlfriend( koffi talks about that in jipson's biblia when he starts talking at the end of song) and they are so addicted to sex that they date their dancers and fans, and many female fans when they meet their stars and express their delight they do not realise that straight away musicians are already thinking about making sure they'll end up in their bed and all this leads to so much controversy surrounding them and if you want  to be hated by a musician just date one of his girlfriends (without any interest from himself, and even with that they are still quite possessive)
he adds that there is controversy about papa wemba's children at funerals because it was a sudden death unlike with tabu ley who had been sick for a long long time so children had time to see each other and family had time to prepare to possibility of his death and he hopes they will be united after all this noise calms down a bit and they can organize to benefit from papa's rights as they deserve it
he once again goes about the bad side of polemic saying unfortunately its too late for fally and ferre to understand and we have to make sure the generation of fabregas deplick do not get into that game, fally and ferre will only accept being next to each other for big money and even about that money there will still be trouble about suspicion of one having received more money than the other one for their reunion so its a lost cause already because their ego will have the last word
and same for jb and koffi for the fact koffi  tried to date jb's daughter and that chai wanted to be produced by koffi central and koffi told him to go on tv and insult jb first then he'll help  him and those are proofs among others that it wont change anytime soon
he also gives example of ferre doing vieux jaloux and apparently not being happy of jb and werra making peace and maintains that unfortunately the system wont change with those guys and all we have to do now is to make sure the upcoming stars do not fall into that and the other guys are not realising how polemic and the hate it has generated is taking them down because they have money they have girlfriends so for them all is good

Who is this guy? So pretty much Papa Wemba had success in the 70's,80's and 90's it seems. Like he said about Wemba, I think Fally's influence would be really known and appreciated when he's gone (I've been thinking about that for a while). Wow Koffi really put the thing with Jordan Kusa in a song when Jordan was in the group. Why would Ferre be mad about Werra and Jb being close? About Fally and Ferre, it's Ferre who has that complex towards Fally ever since Fally went solo. I don't think songs about sex are bad unless they put a warning. The committee for funerals seem wrong. Reddy should've done the tribute song with his won money if he loved Wemba the way he claims he does, especially since he has his own money.  Polemic isn't bad if it helps artists produce better stuff and if it doesn't target friends and family and doesn't create violence.

Thierry's echoing a lot of what we've been discussing regarding the largely negative state of affairs.

example of ferre's kiti ya libaya  and wonders how they are so addicted to sex being in songs or in their lives and gives example of how koffi liked a girl among a group of girls who visited jordan kusa  and koffi told jordan to let one of the girl who caught his attention come to him and the girl said she preferred jordan and other quartier latin musicians confirmed she was jordan's girlfriend( koffi talks about that in jipson's biblia when he starts talking at the end of song) and they are so addicted to sex that they date their dancers and fans, and many female fans when they meet their stars and express their delight they do not realise that straight away musicians are already thinking about making sure they'll end up in their bed and all this leads to so much controversy surrounding them and if you want  to be hated by a musician just date one of his girlfriends (without any interest from himself, and even with that they are still quite possessive)

A minor point, but Florentine Butukondolo was Jordan Kusa's girlfriend rather than Jipson's?

From my little experience organizing concerts here in the States, I've seen a lot of female fans going up to meet artists on stage, then seeing them way later on, when the concert is over and they're packing equipment, waiting to head to the hotel room with artist x (band leader and/or band member). They don't realize that simply getting on stage and greeting them will lead to other things.

jdog indeed ferre was not happy so do some other maison mere members, because they got used to deep conflict( even though they could have decent relationship in private ,i have already said in the past that ferre for example could not spend a month in kin without seeing kibens)
if you analyse the way ferre deals with polemic, you'll see that ferre copied a lot of werra's (past) attitude except he is more open about his former band members
jordan was not around in affaire d etat if i remember well, i mean he did not participate to album
