The new single of Pamela Mbitse, la reine du roi, will be officially released this weekend on Digital TV, RTNC, and all the TV channels in Kinshasa.  In Europe and Africa on VOXAFRICA TV playlist on Saturday at 08:45AM & 11:45AM GMT, Sunday at 17:45 GMT

Pardon my ignorance, can anyone give a bit of detail who she is / musical origins? I recall  her featuring with Celeo where she shined, but that's about it for her musical history, at least for this genre.

A fine and polished singer!!! She was one of the female singers in Koffi's Quartier Latin called ''Les Mikwapins''  She was in Quartier Latin for a long time along with Cindy,Meje and others, after Cindy ''got promoted'' as Artistic Director and Meje left, the remaining female singers were collectively called ''Les Mikwapins''

Thanks Sly. Ah yes, I remember when Koffi was heavily promoting his young female singers 2007-09 and saying he eventually wanted an all female QL; singers, atalakou and instrumentists. ;D Not sure what he was smoking then, but QL fans were definitely not pleased to hear that.

A promosing singer if she has the backing of Eldorado and Makaba for her first album, two of the hardest working and best composers/arrangers any artist could ask for.

Indeed, i hope Mopao doesn't start disturbing her especially that she may outshine Cindy coz that's what he likes doing when he sees threats to Cindy. ;D
